Purchased this originally for my wife to use at the range, and she enjoys shooting it. This pistol is very easy for her to manipulate. The low recoil of .380 and the low spring tension in the slide make this a pleasure to shoot. Sometimes this gun does jam when ejecting a case, and we do also get misfires on occasion, but otherwise the quality seems fair and this is a nice looking pistol. The reliability has not been as good as some of my other pistols given the ejection jams, and I think this may be a result of the lower spring force in the slide. We did have a recall with this pistol, Smith and Weston did fix it for free, however it took much longer than their 10 day turnaround time listed on the website. This was during Covid, but it was over a month before I got my pistol back. Should not be an issue these days.

This 380 shoots nicely and very accurate.

I am very impressed with this firearm. I purchased this to have a .380 caliber option for students that I train. I was pleasantly surprised by how short and crisp the takeup and reset on the trigger is. When they say they slide is "EZ' they really mean it, because I can easily rack the slide using only my index and middle finger. The loaded chamber indicator is easy to pick-up up even with a quick glance. The firearm fits well even into my large hands. I am indifferent on the grip safety. Overall its a good shooting gun for a great price (especially with the S&W rebate) that has a lot of feautres. I would recommend to anyone for a carry gun.

I bought this gun after the one I owned was too hard to pull. This is very easy and is a great concealed carry gun.

Perfect gun for a woman, my daughter takes her Smith & Wesson M&P to the range with confidence that she will shoot tight groups at random targets without having the recoil of a larger caliber.

Recently purchased the S&W M&P Sheild EZ - 380 ACP . Purchased this particular model for home protection and ease of use. Wife had never shot a handgun and I wanted something with low recoil so she could be comfortable shooting it. This gun fit the bill perfectly. It is well made and fit / finish are of quality for a lower priced handgun. Her only complaint is "wow it is loud" - lol ! Her first time shooting it she hit the target - the target was about 6" round - not bad for a first timer.

Shoots great. The spring is much easier to rack the slide with than most .380's

Nice Gun, however, after shooting it at the range twice, the clips are hard to get in the gun. Fast delivery by Buds.

Very well made S&W .380. I have a Glock 19 but this may become my favorite small pistol.

Great pistol to add to the library of every day carry pistols. The size of the pistol makes this a great shooter, and the .380 never has any kick. Fun to plink with all day, less expensive ammo, and easy to carry. I own other S&W M&P pistols, so that makes owning one more that much easier.

Tried this gun out for the first time today. Two different brands of ammo, two different shooters. Had multiple failures to eject and several jams. Terrible gun. Could not get through a whole clip without a problem.

It was worth my money, plus got two free 20 round boxes of ammo from Bud's sale. It's not too light so recoil is mild. Racking it is cinch (two fingers). The sights are larger than a Walther or a Ruger which is nice for old eyes. Disassembly and cleaning is very easy, even for an amateur, like me. The pistol is only as accurate as the shooter, so practice, practice. It's very accurate with any ammo out to 10-12 yards. No failures. The pistol's grip safety has lots of people turned off. You don't even notice its there, however. The pistol kinda grows on you. It looks much better in person. My only complaint: the manual safety gets in the way of my thumb so I had to adjust my grip. It's a 380 auto caliber. Don't let anyone tell you it isn't enough for self-defense. You don't wanna be the wrong end of that 95 grainer going 960 fps. Buy it, it's affordable protection.

A really great little pistol. I bought this for my wife to carry but it's really nice and has a ton of high end features. S&W has really outdone themselves with this little guy. They were a company I thought made good revolvers and ugly semis... But the EZ has changed my opinion on their semi autos. This pistol is an incredible value for the money.

Use weapon for CC, it works well.

Budsguns is great! This gun, not so much. I got this firearm, because my dad has one and swears by it that it never fails. Mine was a disappointment. I haven't had mine misfire or jam, but I couldn't hit the target with this gun. I have no trouble with my H&K VP9 of Walther CQ. I looked downwards at the top of my M&P380 and the sights were noticeably not centered. It is disappointing that S&W would allow a weapon off the line with sites that were so poorly installed. Taking this weapon apart to clean / correct the sights is also a chore. There is a prong that pops up and makes it very hard to put the slide back onto the frame. It is still sitting on my weapons bench unassembled due to how difficult it is to get back together.

Fired it today. Fed it 3 different kinds of ammo…cycled all beautifully. Nice weapon.

For the price this gun is gold. I wish the manual safety was not there and instead a trigger safety, and maybe that model is out there or coming but the rest of the gun is great. If you have any weakness in your hands at all this gun is for you and you will not regret buying it. After the 1st box of ammo and quick clean and oil the slide moves with so little effort you can chamber it with one finger, also the accuracy is phenomenal. Buds got it to me straight away with no bull per the usual! Love you guys!

Great hand gun, very accurate right out of the box. Not crazy about the grip safety. As always Buds had a good price and great service.

Love this little pistol easy to rack. Exactly what I and my wife need. I bought each of us to carry. Got to get a Crimson for it that will make it a complete little pistol.

After reading the glowing reports from gun testers, I placed an order, then waited. And waited.The wait was worth it! Bud's came through as usual for me. The pistol IS very easy to rack the slide; form and function are top notch. It will feed FMJ, semi-wadcutters, or hollow points without a burp. Love it and recommend it especially for females whose hands aren't as strong as guys'.
