An excellent little handgun! Several hundred rounds through it so far without a single malfunction. The Safariland Model 578 7TS GLS Pro-Fit Holster for Glock 19/Glock 23/Glock 32 fits this gun perfectly. You can't go wrong with this pistol.

Excelente arma, para el precio, le cambie la guia porque es de plastico, pero lo demas muy buena por el precio, para entrenar con bala se poco costo, y el servicio de buds #1!!

Honestly I really don't like the gun. It feels way too much like a toy.

I’ve shot about 150 rounds through this without a hitch. It’s fairly accurate and shoots very smoothly with very little recoil. The sights were a bit off- had to adjust windage about an inch at 7 yards, but that was pretty simple to do after reading the instructions in the manual. I’m happy with this purchase.

This TX22 is a very good shooting pistol, out of the box, shoots like a champion and without any issues…I would recommend this to anyone.

I have been so impressed with the 9mm version Taurus has (I have purchased 2 9mm). Company makes well made firearms, that perform well, at a very reasonable price point. Was waiting for a while to get my hands on a .22 from them. Again another great product.

Fun to shoot best ammo to use are those with solid nose easy grip with my beat up hands

This little gun is Awesome!!! Light and a blast to shoot. I have fired hundreds of rounds through it without any jams. Again, I am not an expert so as far as the trigger pull goes, I have no issues. Pro's may find it not to their liking as I have seen with other Taurus reviews. One downside is the laser sight that is available from Taurus is a little cheesy. For price and fun you can't go wrong.

So, I'm old (a bonafide Fudd!). I've been shooting .22 pistols for half a century. I cut my teeth on an old Ruger Mk II and have run through at least a dozen assorted rimfire pistols and revolvers since then. I was after something to replace the Woodsman I recently gifted to my daughter and picked up one of these TX22s. Like any responsible buyer I did a lot of research before doing so. This thing was G&A's 2019 GOTY. Every guntube influencer raves about them. Grizzled old gun writers that still use a typewriter even say they are the bee's knees. For $310 I figured I couldn't go wrong--and I sure wasn't! It is a beautiful pistol. It fills my hand like it was made just for me. It comes up on point like a champ, and the (sparse) controls are easily worked with my thumb without having to change my grip. It is a full-sized pistol. It's bigger than my EDC Glock 19, but not as large as a Glock 34. It is finished remarkably well and demonstrates some really sexy lines. The frame has a gas pedal/indexing depressions right where you'll want them. The texturing is subtle, but sufficient. This pistol begs to be shot thumbs-forward...and fast! I want to stress something--this is a lightweight gun. Incredibly light. The build is solid, the fit is tight, and overall it is everything but "cheap feeling". I am not sure exactly what type of sorcery was used to do it, but this thing just feels solid as a rock but is light as a feather--and I mean that. The trigger is as good as you can get out of a striker-fired gun. It's REALLY good. There's some deliberate take-up, a wall, and then it breaks like the proverbial glass rod. Overtravel is imperceptible and the reset is short, crisp, and audible. You can shoot this gun FAST, and it wants to be. The threaded barrel is a very nice offering. That and the pair of magazines it comes with is a generous package for a $300-ish pistol. While it begs for a can or a compensator, I don't think there's anything else you'd really need to add to it out of the box. Buy magazines and ammo...lots of ammo. Save enough for some Chapstick to prevent your lips from cracking due to the silly-grin you're going to have after buying one of these.

Bear to disassemble and Taurus customer service was useless. A trip to youtube saved the day: Taurus TX22 barrel problem.
Quality of rifling is not great but accuracy is average and reliability has been good.

I was surprised how much I liked this gun. No real experience with Taurus, but like everyone else I had heard bad things. Not here. This pistol is big for a .22 about the size of a Glock 19 but weighs next to nothing. The trigger is very good, the sights decent and the reliability has been excellent. It's one of my favorite range pistols. The trigger is quite light so in hindsight, I think I would get the model with a safety.

So far so good, feeds everything I've fed it and it has a very surprisingly good trigger.
