Just received the wrangler, put new walnut grips on it and it looks like a much more expensive revolver. The gun ids well made and worth a lot more.

Buds gun shop was great to deal with as usual. My Ruger Wrangler arrived at my FFL in a couple of days. After receiving it I took it out to my truck to inspect it. After cocking the hammer back the revolver locked up and wouldn’t rotate. Since I had taken it from the store I contacted Ruger. As always Ruger stands behind their products. They checked the revolver, contacted me and sent a brand new one to my FFL. This one seems to work perfect. This is my third Wrangler that I have bought. Love my Rugers and their customer service.

The website is super easy to use and navigate with many options. This firearm shipped quickly, came as advertised, and works perfectly! I've put about 50 rounds through it so far and I love it! Looks just like the picture. It's a great plinking gun and has a good weight to it. I would suggest this firearm and I would but it again.

I was ready to hate this gun. Not because of the way it was finished. The gun looks great and it feels like a real gun , not a toy. But the hammer spring on this gun must be forty pounds. The trigger is great. Crisp let off at about six , seven pounds. But pulling back the hammer is ridiculously heavy. The gun came in clean, wrapped in a plastic bag and unlubed which was fine. In a cardboard case with a cable lock and plenty of instructions . So ,I cleaned it up and oiled everything. I also painted the back of the front sight with a little gold paint...all I had. And even though I have read these Rugar Wranglers can be dry fired , I decided to 'soft' dry fire the gun by holding my thumb on the hammer, releasing the trigger and easing the hammer down...not true dry firing it. Just trying to wear in the action and weaken the hammer spring a little. Glad I did because darn if I did'nt find some Youtube videos showing actual dry fire peening damage in the cylinders from dry firing...short hint...use snap caps to dry fire most any weapon. So I 'soft' dry fired it about a thousand times and when I was'nt doing that ,I left the hammer pulled back in the firing position for about 24 hours several times , hoping the spring would let up. It did'nt and I was going to simply trade it in on a 22 long rifle rifle I was looking at and I said , "heck man, let's fire this thing and see what happens." So, I took it to a gun store / range here in Virginia up on Rt 15 and spent a beautiful morning just enjoying shooting 100 rounds of standard CCI 40 grain lead round nose bullets and 100 rounds of CCI minimag 40 grain copper plated round nose bullets through it. I had not done that in many years. I had seen posts talking about how slow to eject the bullets in this Ruger Wrangler was. Heck, I just tipped the gun on the back of it's grip ,barrel in the air pointing away from me and watched the front of the cylinder as the ejector came out ,lined them up and was unloading this revolver in less then 10 seconds. Reloading was pretty much as fast as you just turn the cylinder as fast as you can load it. What this Ruger Wrangler taught me is I have been away from shooting a long time and how much I missed it. The revolver is more accurate then I am ...right now. The stock sights are really close to spot on and that's great. I might have to bring a file and take a small amount off the front sight or I might just use white paint and paint the bottom half of the front sight. But the bottom line is. I had fun. Alot of fun ,at a range like I had'nt in alot of years. This little revolver challenges me to get better , to see better, tall order for me right now. This Ruger Wrangler won't sugar coat it when you don't pay attention to your aiming ,get your grip wrong or mess up your trigger pull but some of the groups I was getting were really nice. Especially with the standard CCI 40 grain lead round nose bullets. I could kick my butt for selling my Ruger Mark Two 5 1/2 inch bull barrel pistol decades ago but this little gun is fun. Now ,I need a file, some white paint and a 22 cleaning kit and we'll be all set. You ain't winning the next round , Wrangler. No flyers next time.

I am enjoying shooting my Ruger Wrangler single action revolver. It functions well for an aluminum framed, 4 1/2” barrel wheel gun. It is a lightweight unit. The fixed sights seemed to be regulated to within 2-3” of the point of aim at about 15 yards. POA to POI (point of impact) is a bit closer at closer distances. A little further off out at 25 yards. Fired a little over 100 rounds thru it so far. Only a couple different brands of .22 LR. I’ll try other brands when I get a chance, might find one the fixed sights “like” better. POI is a little low and left, from the POA. For the price point, it’s function and accuracy performance are acceptable to me. It’s like manipulating a little Colt Single Action Army revolver, to me. Fun, relaxing.

Bought this for my son's first gun. Dang near had to wrestle it away from my FFL because he couldn't stop playing with it. This weapon is fun, easy to maintain and a great tool to use for training.

Not as nice as a Single Six, but a good gun for the money. Definitely a step up from the Heritage .22s. I did install a reduced power hammer spring which makes them more pleasant to shoot.

OK, I bought this to replace the Heritage. Nearly twice price as much at the time of purchase but I've always been impressed with Ruger products. I have yet to shoot the it but it looks and feels great.

Anyone with this gun will tell you about the loading gate being extremely stiff. But besides that this gun is awesome! It’s a cheap little 22 shooter that is pretty accurate and well made.

Great economical Ruger Cowboy gun. Shoots to point of aim with all ammo tested. Liked so well I have already purchased a Birds herd Wrangler. As always Buds were exceptionally fast getting it to me. Great piece highly recommend but must say don't expect a single six..

Buds Guns always does an amazing job of processing orders quickly and their knowledgeable staff has always been quick to answer any questions. At under $200 the Ruger Wrangler is the most fun per dollar item I own. No matter what I bring to the range people seem to enjoy shooting it more than anything else.

Excellent service from the team at Buds Guns Shop. The Ruger Wrangler arrived as informed by the tracking information. The pistol is great, fun to shoot and very accurate. You will love this gun, the only problem is that everyone wants to use it at the range...

Great .22! My plinking and carry around the farm pistol. Always fires when you pull the trigger and is capable of better accuracy than my old eyes can squeeze out of it.

Probably the best $196.55 I ever spent! It is a very fun little gun to go plinking with and a great pistol to teach new shooters with. Also a nice little back pack gun for hiking.
