This thing is a whole bunch of fun. I was looking for something cheap to shoot (after building a .300 Blackout and a .308 Aero Precision AR guns). This is 9mm so it's cheap to shoot and it comes with a Glock mag well in the box so you can use any 9mm Glock magazine. I prefer the 33 round stick mags, they add some serious firepower capacity not to mention look good. I added the arm brace and red dot. I added an upgraded handguard, larger charging bolt handle and a larger mag release since the picture was taken but other than that and a sling, this thing is done! PDW for about $1k. This is a great pistol. I owned an mp5 and I actually prefer this PC Charger. The takedown capability allows the pistol magazines and accessories to fit easily into a small case. The ability to modify the controls is very helpful. I moved the charging handle l to the left side so I can change mags and chamber a round without releasing the pistol grip. I also installed the Glock mag adapter, the 33 round mags perform perfectly in this pistol. The picatiny rails on the top and but of the pistol along with the m-loc rails make it very customizable. I recommend using the forward hand stop for personal safety. A very innovative and fun pistol!

I purchased this and altered my S&W M&P mags to function without any issues in it.

Great gun. It is a bit heavy but not more than expected. I attached a folding brace, Dagger Defense optic, and a 3" muzzle break. Once zeroed in, it shot just fine. I have had 300 rounds through it and it performed flawlessly. Make sure that you clean it before you use it. I will be switching out the Ruger mag adapter for the Glock mag adapter soon. wanted one of these for the longest time. holding it for the first time is so satisfying. every thought of "i didnt need this gun" is quickly replaced by "but look how cool it is.." i'll shoot it for the first time tomorrow at the ranch, but dry firing confirms what most reviews i watched said, the trigger is excellent as one could hope for. threaded barrel is just begging to be capped off with your favorite 9mm muzzle device. can confirm the AR15 size pistol grip is easily replaceable with your choice of any pistol grip that fits on a AR. i switched to something nice and rubbery. i have the longer PC carbine as well and i really enjoy having the same magazines that work with different guns, ruger or glock magwells included, whichever you prefer. switching them is easy. put your favorite red dot on that picatinny rail and call it a day!

I like a different kind of firearm. This is it. Swapped out to Glock mags. Some external upgrades. A little heavy for those used to m4 style firearms. But remember the M4 platform is extremely light. Slings on a single like a champ. With rear attachment is placed and positioned quickly and correctly. This pistol is accurate within its intended scope in my opinion. I have no issue with less expensive ammo both new or reloads. Nice heavy bolt keeps repeated shots easily on target. These are my findings yours may differ.

I got this pistol for a variety of reasons, but the impending "brace" nonsense lit a fire under me. It's obviously just a chopped PC Carbine and as such, it has all the strengths and weakness of that rifle. Like the rifle, it's heavy for its size, no doubt party because it has the take-down apparatus. Like the PC Carbine, it's also solid as a rock. I got a picrail-to-AR buffer tube adapter, put on a brace and a red dot and now it is the most versatile firearm I have, and, in 9mm, the most economical centerfire. If they ever make in other calibers, I'll be there!

Wow! This thing is a ton o' fun! Extra mags w/25-30 round capacity are easy to find. First trip to the range I ran through about 250 rounds and only the ETS branded 25rd mags had an occasional issue. The magpul mags worked flawlessly. Oh, I had to switch mag wells to the Glock compatible version but that was like a 5 minute task and this comes with the part needed + instructions. I've since added a red dot and a laser and it's a 5 star fun fest, very accurate at 25 yds. I can't say enough good things about this Ruger! You can even switch the bolt handle - it's wonderful to have that on the left side until you put a folding brace on it. I'd say it needs a brace for accuracy because it is on the heavy side. However; once you put a brace on it the ATF considers this a SBR and you're supposed to fill out some paperwork in order to legally possess a SBR. So check you local laws and make your own decisions. Finally, this is one of my favorite guns to shoot and has definite practical use in a close quarters situation. I hope this review helps, enjoy!

There are plenty of good reviews out there, all I can say is that this is one of my favorite firearms. It's reliable, takes Glock magazines, and is fun to shoot. I also recommend checking out the TANDEMKROSS accessories for it.

Buds shipped quickly as usual. It's a shame sales tax now has to be paid. Hope to add a brace soon and maybe score some ammo. Looking forward to actually shooting it. Sorry that a better review cannot be made of the firearm. Maybe later. I will give it a five star rating because Ruger seems to be putting out quality items nowadays.

Very solid carbine!! Better than ant AR 9mm pistol! I attached a folding stock to the 1913 rail! Put a eotech red dot. Great accuracy out to 80 yards 😁
