Jams ever couple shots Fit and finish was pretty good

I'll keep this short and sweet. I have been shooting guns responsibly since I was a small child and am a former Army NCO. For years my preferred shotgun was the Mossberg M590 but I never did like the way it fed and extracted shells but I became proficient with it by tilting it to the left for it to function perfectly. The Escort is much better than the Mossberg and is easier to teach with and is my new best friend when I need a shotgun as I roam around Alaska in Grizzly country where bears, wolves and other predators might injure myself, my family, or my guests. I take no chances when it comes to protecting the people I love. I always have my sidearm with me as a backup but it's great to have a shotgun and this thing is perfectly fine for shooting small game such as grouse or taking out larger animals when there is no time to aim and a shotgun is the best defense. If I could only have one firearm in Alaska a 12 Gauge like this is what I would choose any day of the week. It is well made and it functions perfectly after a proper cleaning and lubrication. I never was any good at keeping things short and sweet so I will add the fact that a big plus for the Escort is the ability for it to handle 3 inch magnum slugs. Grizzlies are huge!

This is a great shotgun. It's smooth operation and crisp clean movements make this gun a great buy. It shoots with out any jam ups and cycles as it should. Bud's comes through again!!

Great shotgun for home defense and range practice. I tryed it at the range yesterday. It had a little bit of kick so you need to hold it right. The pump action was nice and the shooting very accurate. Ergonomics were nice, the shotgun felt very light and easy to hold. I enjoyed the time at the range using the Escort Slugger 12 GA Shutgun. Would like it to be fit for adding accesories such as picattiny rails and other things. For the price tag it's a fun to practice shotgun.

My home defense shotgun. It has really good weight, very well balanced for taming recoil. Very inexpensive. For the price and peace of mind, it's definitely worth every penny.
