Not sure how this pistol is so well reviewed. Accurate yes but very unreliable. Guessing I just got a bad set. The guns jammed a lot. One gun jammed on the 2nd round. Would not trust for CC. Was not the ammo either. It jammed shooting just about everything. Also the slide would slam shut on its own when you would load another clip. Buds was great as always. Fast and easy.

This is a fantastic firearm. shoots where you point, did not have any issues. One gripe is i couldnt find an optic ready version with the ported barrel this size S&W, so i may find a place to make the slide optics ready att some point, but for now im happy it out the box. lastly the grip is very rough in a good way however depepnding on how its holstered the grip can kind of scratch your stomach a little as youre walking.

Just what the doctor ordered. Sent off for a slide optic cut as soon as I received it, but trigger felt good dry fire. I'm planning on using for EDC or backup. I've enjoyed all my other S&W's and don't think this one will be any different.

I purchased this gun due to my mother having one, after I shot her 2.0 shield I had to get the newer better version so I did. I have not yet shot my own yet but when I do I know it will be smooth as butter. Thank you buds and to many more transactions to come lol.

Excellent trigger, easy to shoot with or without the longer 13 round magazine. I love that this came with one 13 and one 10 round magazine for a chance to find out which you like better before buying more. The ported barrel does seem to help a little bit with recoil and the gun is nice and easy to control. I would recommend one of these to anyone, new shooter or experienced.

I'm a Navy Vet and have used guns on duty. I have many handguns in my gun safe but this new Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P 9 Shield Plus 9mm is the best yet! Almost no felt recoil with the ported barrel and the accuracy is great! I shot 250 rounds with no problems the first day at the Range! Buds gun shop is the best place to find Firearms and ammo at a fantastic prices and shipping is fast too! I'm 74 so eyesight and steady nerves is not the best but this Smith & Wesson pistol gives me the confidence to conceal carry it again!

This pistol is incredible. Very soft shooting. It fits perfectly in my hand with excellent Steppling. I would likely get this in the 4 inch version as well. For me personally, it’s a dream CCW. Buds is excellent, of course. Shipping was ultra fast. Don’t think twice this gun is real as it gets

S &W Shield Plus ported barrel, I was immediately impressed with the feel, grip angle and that awesome trigger. Shoots well and no issues with feeding. Less felt recoil because of the ported barrel. Less than what you would expect for a micro 9mm. Just a great gun

I actually love my M&P shield plus it's a weapon I use every day.

I started out with a 1st generation Shield that quickly became my favorite edc. I like the performance center options on this with the higher capacity mags. Love the Shield plus PC.

I love the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus. Good ergonomics and accurate for the size of the gun! Worth every penny I spent on this purchase!

Can't say that I'm pleased with S&W PC M&P 9mm Shield Plus. I took it out of the box, tried to jack the slide. The slide would not go back into battery. The take-down lever was near impossible to move. I spread it with lube until I could move it. Then, I cleaned it thoroughly, assembled it, worked the slide multiple times, still couldn't get it to go back into battery. The slide is hanging up about an 1/8 to 1/4 from the end. The guide rod is binding, or the slide is binding. I'm real disappointed to say the least. I own multiple S&W's, this is the first problem, and of all models, a Performance Center model. I called, and got a shipping label, so back to S&W it goes for 6 or more weeks. I think that this model was pushed too fast. The one good thing that I can say, the trigger is great. But, no matter how good the trigger, not going into battery will get you killed.

I finally had a chance to take this to the range and put at least 250 out of the bag bulk ammo rounds through it. It had no failures of any kind, was comfortable, sights are nice and so is the trigger. Any accuracy issues are on me. All in all, a good firearm.
