Really like using remington 700 actions when building a new rifle they are really easy to work with.

Item arrived in good condition in a timely manner. Blueprinted the action upon arrival. The face was out of square by quite a bit but got her in shape for my 257 Roberts build.

Be careful and take a good look at the receiver threads and make sure they are not bent from a drill bit or tap from the front scope mount hole. My gunsmith and I thought we could fix them by turning in a barrel but broke a thread on the barrel and like to never got it out. Had to send it to Remington repair shop. I have purchased a number of Remington receivers with no problems this looks like poor quality control.
