Excellent pistol, way better than a Glock, sorry !!

S&W m&p9 looks great. It had some hiccups with the first 2 mags of ammo but that is my fault for taking it to the range without a complete disassembly and cleaning as is suggested in the owners manual. The gun and mags are high quality. Just wished they sent out a 23 round mag with the package so you don't have to purchase separately. The trigger has some squish before the break so that will take some getting used to. Overall this gun is great and affordable!

I got this handgun for a longer barrel and sight picture. Also able to use hotter loads with accuracy. Weight forward,low slide,good grip angle. Nice gun overall.

On 07/05/22 I ordered a S&W 2.0 9mm FDE from Bud's. Ordering process was good-took a total of five days to get to my FEL. I took the gun out of the box, inspected it and found no obvious problems. I cleaned the barrel which , as always , was covered in heavy oil. The gun was dry inside, so I lightly oiled it. I finally took it to my range yesterday 07/17/22. I fired the gun one time, it failed to fire on the 2nd through 5th time. It continued this trend through one magazine, a total of 20 + failures. Here's the problem I have. Quality controls are obviously a problem with this gun as it failed to fire on the second shot. I called Bud's first, got the familiar ("call S&W, don't bother us reply") . As a retired retail manager, I understand the way warranties work, but it was always my business model to take care of the customer, whatever it took. Many times I would deal with the manufacturer and I can say truthfully, I don't remember EVER losing a dime with this methodology. 1) If S&W actually fired this gun, It couldn't have been fired but one time 2) Since this was a "out of the box problem" it should have been replaced,no questions asked. Now I have to wait 5-7 weeks for a gun I hope I can trust. I'm obviously disappointed in S&W customer service for their passive attitude, and Bud's for the same reason. I'm and older and old fashioned kind of a guy and I like to buy American when I can. Maybe buying Austrian is the answer. I own three S&W and never had a problem (two M&P 2.0 and a 6906 I've had for 35 years.. Any way that's all I have to say.

Received the pistol Friday 07/01/2022 from my FFL and couldn't be happier. I particularly like the grip texture which eliminates the need to add aftermarket grip material.

This is a phenomenal pistol. This is about as close as you can get to a 1911 striker fired pistol. The apex trigger kit is a highly recommended upgrade.

Loved the money I saved compared to other suppliers. Like the gun color, ease of use, safety feature, and the grip adjustment. Great gun for the money spent and easy to upgrade with night sights and a match grade barrel.

“Squishy” trigger from the factory as expected with the M&Ps, but the trigger kit from Apex fixed that. Great pistol outside of that. Thanks Bud’s!

This weapon functions flawlessly with a wide range of ammunition and about 200 rounds in a day without any failures. I love the feeling of the textured grip and having big hands, it fit quite nicely. Will buy more S&W in the future.

I like this pistol a lot. I have no complaints about the factory trigger, it shoots smooth, and the grip texture is really aggressive. I will most likely be buying another at some point.

My gun came with obviously crocked sights. I couldn't hit anything with it at first and was wondering what was wrong as I have no problems with my HK or Barretta. I looked top down on the gun and could see the sights were not aligned. I corrected them and now the gun is much better, though I feel it is vastly less accurate then my H&K VP9. I really like the grips and the ability to put a different grip in really makes the gun. I am a huge fan of the manual safety, which is easy to use and gives me comfort that the gun is less likely / unlikely to misfire in my holster. The weapon is easy to take down and clean and re-assemble. The texturing on the grip is a little uncomfortable, but creates a very firm grip. I feel very confident that this gun will not slip out of my hand. I want a M&P15 now, as those have this same grip.

This is a very accurate gun. I loved it so much that I recommended it to my Daughters boyfriend and he loves it too. I would recommend this product. Working with Buds is always a smooth transaction.

This gun is great! It was my choice for my first gun. I tried many other brands and found this M&P shot more accurately and softer than the competition. it has never failed on me. i have put brass, aluminium and metal through this gun and it doesn't not skip a beat! Also at the time i bought it the price could not be beat for the performance this gun gives.

Great range pistol. Very accurate. Interchangeable back straps make it a good fit for anyone.

Funnest gun I've bought in quite a while. Just wish I could find a mag in fde.
