Ordered this revolver last year and couldn't be happier. Extremely smooth trigger. What I like most about it is the Hogue grip, which allows you to retain very good control when firing those +P loads. Highly recommended as a concealed carry option.

I have owned older versions of this revolver and I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how close it is to those older models. It seems to be a touch creepier on the trigger but overall it is a good shooter and I do not regret my purchase. I am most satisfied.

Great self defense gun, well made and nicer than what I expected

Great gun. Size is between my airweight and my gp100. just right. First time I ordered a firearm from Buds. Everything went great with no problems.

Really really like to shoot this gun. It's a great product with one exception. Three cylinders will not eject after firing. Hoping it will 'shoot in' so I don't have to send it back to colt.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Purchased this revolver from Bud's 07/11/2019, after reading many reviews. After firing only 68 rounds of standard velocity ammo, the gun ceased functioning. This is not the old Colt D frame revolver by any stretch of the imagination. I know Colt revolvers inside, and out. This revolver is an extremely poorly engineered piece of simplified junk. The hammer broke where the current hammer spring yoke pivots. The hammer, trigger, and most of the internal parts, are MIM parts. There is nothing at all wrong with MIM, as long as the parts are made properly, and properly engineered for the stresses involved. The New Cobra, is not. This may only be my own opinion, but I am sure most anyone who truly knows Colt revolvers, will arrive at the same opinion. I tried to contact Colt's Customer Service, but was informed by an answering machine, that the Customer Service line had been shut down, and was not in service. Brownell's, and Midway, are the only dealers who supposedly have Colt Cobra parts, according to Colt. Neither do! I was looking forward to carrying the New Cobra, as a duty revolver. Now, all that I have is a very expensive paper weight, that luckily did not fail, in a life, or death situation when I needed it most. Colt, is history, as far as I am concerned. What a sad legacy, for what was once, a great American company. But this revolver, at your own risk.

Pistol arrived quickly and in good shape. Really liked the feel in my hand. The action is smooth and works nicely. No problems to date with the pistol. Would definitely buy another. Now if only Colt would make the Python again.

One Buds was fast! Two people I'm telling you if your looking for a 2 inch revolver this is it! I have had a Redhawk , K6s, and I cant lie this one takes them all! Amazing work trigger is one of the best ! And I mean DA doesn't even feel like it! SA is crazy ! I see why Colt for so long was the top dog in Revolvers! Get it if you can tell you!

My 11th or 12th purchase from buds. Used their laway again. I paid it off on a Monday and it was at my FFL Thursday, which was amazingly fast. Thanks buds! The gun itself is great. Smooth trigger. Nicely finished. Rubber grip feels great and the sight is easy to pick up, much more so then the j frame smiths. My problem with this "colt" is that while it says it's a colt, almost none of the gun itself is made by colt. They have outsourced every part of this weapon. That being said, whoever made the parts did an exceptionally well job and this is as close as your going to get to an original production colt as ur gonna find anywhere. Outsourcing is nothing new since 1911 companies have been doing it for decades, then stamping their name on it. If this doesn't bother you, this little gem is worth a look.

I have finally gotten my hands on a Colt Cobra. The weight distribution is excellent and the sights are great! I really like the trigger pull as well. I look down to holster it and it feels great for an EDC (5o'clock position for me)...with my hand twitching, I look up...I notice a shiny badge on my chest and a white cowboy hat on my head...I lift my eyes a little higher to see under the brim and I am wearing a black mask. Cue the music:)

It is a nice little .38, the finish is nice the grips are OK. I would have liked the CLT COBRA CLASSIC 38SPL 2 SS BRIGHT CLY WOOD better but wasn’t available at the time. Would I carry the gun, no I wouldn’t but I wanted the new Cobra. Happy with the purchase.

I usually only keep one revolver at a time to carry around the ranch occassionaly.The Colt Cobra replaces a long line of S&W M60's, 637's,686's and 629's. Since I don't carry it for self defense a small 38 is usually my choice. The Cobra is well made and is solid in the hand. The sights are adequate for snakes, rats and loud enough to scare off stray dogs or coyotes. I am very happy with it and will keep it awhile.

I'll start out saying" I love the gun , the way it feels , the way it looks, and even the way it shoots in both single and double action. I however was not pleased when on the third shot ever fired the front sight fell off of the gun and was lost forever. I ordered a new sight replaced it ( with loctite), hopefully this one will be there for some time. I wish Colt would make the Python now , this gun gave me an itch that needs scratched. As for Bud's they always provide good service.

I ordered this product from Bud's and it arrived very quickly. This was my third or fourth handgun purchased from Bud's and they continue to be a great company to do business with. The handgun arrived in excellent condition. What a real beauty. I am anxious to get this out to the range and put a few hundred rounds through it.

Without a doubt, this is the best double action and single action trigger that I have ever experienced in a factory revolver. The bead blasted stainless steal finish looks better than I expected and overall the quality of this revolver shows EXCELLENT workmanship. The grip fits the hand very comfortably and the front sight is easy to acquire. Colt did a great job with the Cobra and I commend them. This revolver is definitely worth the money and highly recommended for a carry or backup gun.

A very smooth 6 1/2 lb da pull and 2 3/4 lb sa trigger pull. Locks up tight and the front sight is quite visible. Compared to 3 s&w snubs and a 72 colt cobra I own, this one tops them all. Poi was spot on with 158 grain swc rounds @10 yds. Worth every penny. Thanks Buds!

Seen this finally become available for about 5 mins bought it as fast as i could. Bud's was great to deal with as always. Purchased it on a Monday, and had it in my hands by Thursday. Put 50 rounds through so far. Did have some lock up problems after the first 25 rounds, seemed like the cylinder was sticking. Other than that, it is a nice shooting gun. Hopefully Colt expands the line.

I was lucky to get this fine little colt, as buds was showing five in stock, and by the time I finished procrastinating about getting one they were gone. I came back on later and it showed one left for bud members only, so I spent the thirty bucks and joined, and was able to get the last one they had. If anyone is looking for this new colt cobra, and it comes up on here, don't waste time looking else where as they go really fast, and by joining buds members you get first choice of hard to get guns, same day shipping if you order before noon. I'm looking at the s&w 686 they now have and it looks almost the same but is a 357mag, and one is six rounds and one is seven rnds for a few bucks more. the colt is a very nice gun indeed, and as usual I had it within 2-3 days. Buds is good that way getting it in your hands as quick as possible, and having the lowest prices usually on popular guns, and I can't say enough about myffl dealer sterling and knight jewelry and pawn for taking good care of my paper work on the other end. Wow.... I love this revolver. Took awhile to get one since Colt doesn't seem to be making many of them. It is very well built. The fixed sights are perfectly aligned and shoots to point of aim. The DA and SA trigger pulls are wonderful! Surprisingly, the throat diameters are perfectly sized already for shooting lead/coated bullets. All of my S&W and Ruger revolvers I have had to ream out the cylinder throats as they come undersized from the factory. Great little revolver. I hope Colt adds more to their revolver lineup... I would definitely purchase them.
