Bought this for my wife as she had issues with the recoil from her Taurus 38 special. She hated the trigger pull so kept the 38 as her bedside gun. I also had an issue with the gun due to "driver error" and had to send it back to Taurus. They fixed it with no problems and returned it fairly quickly. I've put well over 2000 rounds through the gun and now the trigger pull is fine for DA shooting. I'm getting 2" groups offhand at 10 yards DA and would not part with it now. Its been trouble free since it was returned from Taurus.

First of all the gun does not look like the one pictured. The picture shows a bright stainless colored gun but the one I received is dark dull gray in color. The trigger pull is TERRIBLE. I attached a15 lb barbell to the trigger, and it did not budge. I attached 25lbs to the trigger and it fired. My guess is the DA trigger pull is about 20 lbs. The single action pull of course is better, but the checkering on the hammer is so sharp and the hammer is so hard to cock it actually makes youur thumb sore after a few shots. I tried using a lighter Wolff hammer spring which resulted in a nice DA trigger pull BUT the gun failed to fire on an average of once or twice per cylinder load, unacceptable to me so I put the stock spring back in. If you cock the hammer 9 times there are two cylinders that it does not lock up on. I guess I will be sending this one back to the factory for for repairs, but from what I have read they will not do anything about the heavy trigger pull. I am very disappointed.

Purchased this model 94 ultra light and received 2 days later!! Excellent service from Bud's! Now for the pistol - it was DIRTY! I know they test fire these things, but this one must have had 25 -30 rds through it! The action is "gritty" - long trigger pull, and I have to sometimes wiggle the cylinder to get it to lock when closing. Now, I knew I wasn't buying a Smith & Wesson - but the Quality control on this gun was horrendous! I am giving 3 stars, but only because the price was right. If you are buying a larger caliber pistol that you need to depend on to work flawlessly - buy a S&W
