Was looking for a quality EDC 9mm. After weeks of research, decided on the HK vp9 sk. Also liked the Sig P365 and Glock 43x, but those smaller micro pistols can be a little snappy to shoot. The slightly larger and heavier vp9 sk makes recoil much more manageable and accurate for my needs. Still very comfortable to carry everyday. Love the paddle mag release, slide wings and removeable side panels and backstraps for a customized grip. I actually use the medium size side panel on the palm side of the grip and the large panel for the outside of the grip. Gives a little lip to rest my thumb when shooting. Put night sights on it along with a We The People and Galco holsters. Shoots like a dream and very accurate. Heckler & Koch quality! Fast shipping and great price from Buds!

Who doesn't love an HK!? This compact beauty is accurate and shoots very well. The grip is very comfortable, I didn't have to mess with the heel at all.

My favorite gun! This bad boy is reliable, accurate, and a great looking gun! When I tell people what I carry, they give me that look as to say “you fancy”. I enjoy this gun and it gives my confidence to buy other H&K models.

I own several HK firearms and this HK VP9 SK certainly didn't/hasn't disappointed. It is well-engineered, well-constructed, reliable and accurate, perhaps more accurate than my level of competency at the range should allow. It is ideal in size for EDC purposes and for those of us with larger hands the extended magazines allow for a full-handed grip. And the Buds team was great--they kept me informed at every step in the transaction, shipped quickly, and this pistol was just as advertised/listed. I will certainly be ordering again as the firearms I am shopping for arrive back in Bud's inventory. Well done, Buds.

This is a phenomenal pistol. I’ve put about 300 rounds through mine since I’ve made the purchase and the HK works flawlessly.
Couple of things... if you have bigger hands, you’ll want magazines with the pinky extension. Or, just get yourself a 13/15 rd magazine that has the extension.
I made the mistake of firing cheap range rounds (Legend 9mm 115gr) through this pistol and it did jam up. But, I wholly blame this on the bullets as the same thing happened on a Glock. Good news? The HK is super easy to clear.

I had been doing some research on this particular firearm before I decided to purchase it. When I found that Buds had thee best price, it was pretty obvious that I was going to make my purchase through Buds. Besides having to wait about a month to get it, due to the restrictions related to the COVID19 virus, I got it, and was extremely happy with how it felt in my hand. This is a superb firearm. And after taking it to the range, all my assumptions were quickly dispelled. This is an amazing firearm. If you’re considering buying one, let me implore you, JUST DO IT!!!

I have the VP 9 and absolutely love it. So, of course I had to have the VP 9 SK. What a great CC gun, shoots great and feels perfect in my hands. I have a lot of fun at the range with this one! Thanks to Bud's Gunshop.

Quality Beats Bargain...

To start this pistol is fantastic.
The grip can be custom fitted to your hand with various sizes included with the pistol. Slide action is easy and ambidextrous slide release is user friendly for us special lefties. I have large hands and find the mag with the extra length on it fits perfect but isn't too big to concealed carry. H&K delivered on this pistol.

Love shooting this pistol, one of my favorites, but just too heavy and fat for my EDC. For EDC I have a target empty weight of 20 oz. max.

This is my first gun purchase. I've been hunting and shot plenty of other weapons in the past, but this is the first gun I purchased to own. After going to a range a couple times and renting out several types (all in the 9mm caliber range), I kept going back to the VP9SK for a number of reasons. The ergonomic grip fit perfect on me, the recoil was very manageable and steady for what I was looking for. While the size is slightly larger than other sub-compacts I had tried out, it's still great for a CCL application. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Purchasing through Buds Gun Shop was also a breeze. Again, first time for that (especially online) and it was a lot less hassle than I thought it was going to be. Great work.

The H&K VP9SK is everything that I heard about on YouTube. Very light shooting gun for a 9mm. Almost like a .22. Buds is great to do business with. Great communication and updates. Fast shipping. Great price.

If you suffer from big hand me and inaccuracy shooting small guns THIS IS THE GUN FOR YOU. Recommend the grip extensions and this thing feels like it’s meant to be in your hand forever. Amazing accuracy and handling for a subcompact. Also very easy to conceal. HK outdid themselves with this. Really!
