Bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson. I have have one and he fell in love with it while plinking with me on the farm. Fun to shoot and easy to reload and maintain.

Have not had a chance to shoot it yet............# 10 caps are hard to find.........It look GREAT hanging on my wall

Very handsome look and solid feel, having trouble finding percussion caps so I have not fired it yet.

I am more than satisfied with this purchase. It's a beautiful gun and shoots really well not to mention a ton of fun during so!!! Will be looking at similar guns to add to my collection!

With this purchase I now have 3 Black Powder Revolvers. The 1851 Navy .44 and the 1851 Navy .36. All three are manufactured by Pietta and I am very happy
about this. These revolvers when examined closely are in perfect condition. The brass edges are immaculate, there are no burrs bad fitting of frame and parts.
They look beautiful when displayed and the fun of shooting is at the heart of this. Only another gun collector can understand the beauty of these pieces.
My next purchase will be the Spiller and Burr

I haven’t fired this but it’s a replacement for a similar model I gave to family member.
The fit and finish is quite satisfactory except for a small amount of smeared stain from the grips.
This is the safest of the reasonable priced reproduction percussion revolvers that I know of due to the safety notch between every cylinder chamber.
Based on the performance of the revolver it’s replacing, I have no trouble giving it 5 stars.

Excellent pistol very well built in Italy by Pietta. Accurate good sight picture no scratches beautiful brass, finish and woodwork, everything fit excellent gorgeous handles and at first I thought this looks too good to shoot good, well it shot flawless and on target. Am getting the 12" bbl model too in the 1858 remington model.

Very solid build and smooth action, and a surprisingly good sight picture. A little rough around the edges, I sanded the edges of the grips so the wood was more flush with the brass frame. overall very happy.
