The pistol has a nice trigger but the finish not so great. I notice a small nick once I pull out of the plastic bag. I feel I bought a used gun but paid a new price.

I’m a retired Soldier with over 30 years protecting our nation, the people, and our Constitution from ALL enemies foreign and domestic. I’ve reached the magic age of 65 and according to some of my peer’s, I’m supposed to be golfing. I’d rather be shooting. Throughout my life I’ve always owned and used pistols for CCW and just shooting legally at all types of ranges. The only time a revolver looked tough was Dirty Harry and his high 44 mag, pointing it at the bad guys and saying, you all know what he said. Anyways, I’ve only bought and used semi-auto pistols, until now. The Kimber K6S 357 mag was calling my name. Never shot or owed a revolver. I don’t know why. So I was online at Buds’s looking for a new toy, I came upon the Kimber revolver and since I I’m not a impulsive buyer and have trusted Buds exclusively since 2010. I researched the Kimber on Buds as well as others to include Kimbers website. I was intrigued and curious with the revolver. Just like all the other pistols, I went back to my trusted gun vendor Buds Guns and it was on its way to a local FFL (it took 2 days) another reason why I still use Buds Guns, I now live in the south west after moving from Kentucky When I received it I was in awe, it was pretty. I was almost gonna keep it in the box, but that was not the reason I brought it. When I picked it up it felt so good, well balanced, and I felt the awesome power. I picked up some rounds and went straight out to my favorite place in the desert to shoot. The six shot revolver was different than what I’m used to. Balance, trigger pull in both actions, smoother than most of my pistols as well as accurate. After going through two boxes of 357 mag, I found a new friend. It was at the time when there was a shortage of ammo. Combining a quality revolver with Buds Guns great customer service is a perfect match. Buds Guns always come through, even though I assured my beautiful wife it’s the last firearm, at least for now.

This might be the finest pistol I've ever owned. Shoots great right out of the box. Costs a little more, but in this case you certainly get what you pay for.

Superb revolver. Dream trigger. Six shots ("one better than 5"). Beautiful finish, solid stainless. No sharp edges anywhere on it. Great balance in the hand. Kimber.
Put 50 rounds through it this afternoon, about 50/50 single action and double action. Single action trigger action is excellent, couple of pounds at most. Three (3) dot sight picture (same as on their 1911's) plus single action operation makes for real accuracy. Double action is very smooth and the trigger breaks very predictably.
This is a joy to shoot. Yes, it is more expensive than others, but I've seen nothing that touches the Quality of the K6s. If you can afford it, get it. No regrets.

Replaced my smaller .357 with the K6 DASA 3 inch. Fantastic gun. Recoil with 38 special seems less than a 9mm and put about 40 rounds of 158 grain .357's through it with no problem. Even with the magnums recoil is very manageable. Great sight picture. Incredibly accurate. Well worth the money.

Beautiful revolver, very happy with the product. Most of all I am happy with the staff at Bud's and Richard in particular, fantastic customer service. I could buy my guns at a 100 different places but I return to Buds for the superior service!

Kimber K6S fixed sights , What a nice small revolver it's slim profile offers many options , I have primarily shot 38 special as I am getting used to it but had no trouble with 357's
either , It has a natural point capability and can get on target quickly , After 100 rounds my SA pull is a sweet 2.8 pounds DA I would estimate in the 11 pound range but my scale stops at 8 pounds but I shoot it DA most the time as it's fun and nice to have a wheel gun that handles this well, In DA there is a mid point you can pull to pause to make sure still on target and pull thru to fire very obvious in a good way, No problem with accuracy my standard is 36 feet and can keep it in my 6 in target most the time adequate for me for defense , As a carry gun it works well being thin and smooth with no square edges and find it easier to carry than a staggered mag 9mm in fact my Bianchi #5 leather holster for my Sig 226 fits the Kimber just fine for in the belt or on the belt carry. The Cylinder is recessed so the bullets fit flush a nice feature.
I changed out the 3 dot sights for the Kimber Fiber optic option but the 3 dot worked ok too just prefer 1 mm fiber optic .
I also installed a Hogue grip sleeve as I wanted just a little more girth and it solved that the one for small auto worked just fine ,
The Grips are excellent and look great I did what worked or me .
Shooting hot 357's is not bad sure more kick and flame out the barrel but no bad for such a small package keep wrist straight and a good tight grip no pain.
As always Bud's got it done quickly and efficiently.

After handling and shooting this revolver, I realized, after 20+ years, that I don't care for semi-auto's. Honestly, this is one very sweet shooting revolver.

This is my second Kimber revolver the first being a 2” DAO. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of craftsmanship delivered in both revolvers. The triggers are absolutely superb out of the box, although there is definitely a noticeable difference between the DASA and the DOA models. I can not say one is better than the other because as both are excellent for factory triggers. The sights are also an area where the Kimber K6s are a step above the competition. My only complaint at this time is the limited choices for aftermarket grips available for the DASA models which are different from the DOA models. The stock grips are thin and are not comfortable with full power loads.

Excellent fit and finish. Smooth transaction from buds

Waited till I fired a couple thousand rounds through my new Kimber K6S 3" DA SA prior to this review. Conceals very well with T shirt and OWB paddle holster. Sorry I, personally can't stand IWB carry. I give this gun 5 stars for fit and finish. Very accurate, even though I'm not a fan of 3 dot sights. Note; compared to almost all J frames - sights on this are a huge improvement. SA DA gets a big 5 stars with short, sharp, light trigger pull in SA. This gun as expected - had zero misfire or problems. In summary - love this gun! Kimber now has 4" model with target sights, Dang - target sights - might have to get it! Buds gets 5 stars for flawless, fast delivery to my FFL.

Have bought several Kimbers from Buds and have had excellent customer service!!!! Any questions I have had or issues with anything they have responded asap and that is much appreciated... would recommend for all services when it comes to pistols and ammo. Thanks again
