Another of my most cherished firearms. I don't know why on Earth Wilson Combat discontinued their Beretta line of pistols? I am sick that I won't be able to get the Vertec Brigadier and Centurion versions of this gun. This wonderful pistol is another one of my safe queens; only brought out for friendly shooting competitions and to admire.

The slide feels like it is gliding, no resistance at all. Hardly makes any noise either when you are racking it. Makes me think I’m not holding a real firearm. The front and back strap checkering is great. Offers a positive grip without making you feel like it’s digging in. I wasn’t super excited about the black cherry grips but they have the same texture as the front and back strap. You know when the pistol is and is not in the correct position in your shooting hand. You can literally shoot this gun all day with no fatigue. Far more accurate then I will ever be. The DA/SA trigger pull is outstanding. I would put The SA trigger pull around 2.5-3lbs if that. Worth mentioning the reset is maybe 1/8” or just a little more. Easy to feel and after a few shots you know exactly where to expect it. Not a fan of the sights, the front sight is not bright enough for me and the sight radius feels shorter with how narrow the rear u-notch sight it. I just prefer a bright yellow front sight. The front sight is low but my guess is so it doesn’t snag in a holster. Very easy pistol to wear IWB, but go with a Wilson combat holster. I tried a buddies 92fs holster and the rail catches and could cause it to stick. The included mags are great and are not hard to load at all. The range bag is excellent. Honestly, the pistol is great but this range bag is outstanding. Very well made. Highly recommend this Beretta.

This is the first review I ever did on a firearm I haven’t fired, but because of Covid-19 my ranges in PA are closed. First off I was wondering if I should have purchased a Vertec smaller grip. But, this is not a vertec and it fits my hand perfectly. On my 1911’s with smaller grips I always have to watch my thumb to index finger positioning, but this grip is totally natural for me. In the event you don’t know what I’m talking about, the vertec has a straight back strap and thinner grip. For pros and cons on the trigger are, single and double action are awesome!! But, the reset is a tiny bit long. All and all it’s a beautiful handgun that arrived at my FFL in perfect condition. Ohh, by the way this one is action tuned and I am happy with this purchase.
