I have always longed for the opportunity to purchase a SIG Legion weapons platform. Everything of this P229 Legion speaks of upgrades and craft,a ship you only find from top weapons manufacturers. This weapon is in 40 S&W, but due to its incredible quality, weight, balance, and handling, it is like shooting a 9 mm. Thanks Buds for another great weapon and service!

Quality firearm all around. Fit and feel are right on. Even for a lefty I find no problem accessing functions. Trigger reset is quick and to the point. Sights are easy access and as good as any out there. Hard to beat a Sig!

The best series Sig Sauer has ever made. Period. I own several Sig Sauer pistols but this is the only series (Legion) where I've purchased multiple variations in different models. Simply outstanding.

Outstanding just what you would expect from SIG

This might be the finest handgun ever produced. The whole package is a work of art. The sights are crystal clear in the daytime. The front green really pops and contracts against anything downrange. At night they glow brighter than any Trijicon I have seen. The trigger is so smooth and breaks so cleanly that you might not take your other guns out to play after shooting this one. The recoil is nothing, even in .40 it is not bad. It is a tad large for EDC, but it can be done. I keep mine in the coffee table and carry a G27. I cannot recommend this pistol enough. I have not seen it for sale anywhere else at a better price than right here at Bud's.

Fit and finish is very good as expected. The 229 came well oiled but not over oiled. Sights were true and everything worked smoothly. Shooting the 229 was a joy, recoil was very manageable and somehow seemed softer that my friends 9mm SIG 320 of the same size. The grip is among the best I have used and the gun just felt solid and secure in my hand. I immediately felt comfortable with the trigger, as if I had been shooting it for years. I have 250 rounds of 4 different type and grain ammo with no malfunction. Overall I am very happy with the gun and feel no buyers remorse. My only issue is now I want the 226 Legion in 9mm and I don't think I can swing that with the wife.
