Ideal for CCW purposes and very accurate

I purchased this pistol literally the week before all this craziness back in March and I paid 280.00 which is astronomically cheap for the gun. This pistol is dead on accurate up to about 15 yards and then the groups open up a lil. Amazing ergonomics and just a phenomenal deal thru buds. I just wish I had bought the 40sw version with the green laser for 325! Oh well maybe those good ole days will be back soon. Budsgunshop layaway worked out great for me as I was able to purchase my M&P when it was at a great price for $280 with the crimson trace! Timely shipping made this an excellent purchase. Very happy with the M&P shield but the magazines are tight to seat when they are fully loaded so I have to remove one round and then the magazine seats and snaps in easily. I guess it will take some time for the springs in the magazines to weaken before I can max out each magazine’s capability. Thank you Budsgunshop for a flawless purchase and transfer.

I have been looking for a smaller concealed carry gun. after researching and going to local gun shops and finding out which ones fit my hand and other comparisons. I decided that the Smith & Wesson m&p 2 shield 9 mm was my choice. I was going to buy the Taurus or a sig. but I went to Arizona and had a chance to go in and shoot them. I couldn't believe the one ragged hole I got with the Smith & Wesson shield. the signal is also accurate but way too expensive for that type of gun. I just happened to be on buds when they had a price match and got it for a price the same would it cost me for the Taurus so I snatched it right up. I couldn't be more happier with the fit feel and performance of that gun. I shoot that more now than I have any other gun. it's fun it's accurate and it's a pleasure to shoot. only thing is I'm running out of 9 mm bullets. I absolutely love this gun. I also have the one with the laser on it and that adds an added feature that is good to have on a concealed carry gun. I would definitely recommend this gun to anyone looking for a carry concealed gun. Bud's got it to me in a reasonable amount of time due to the times and the things that are happening right now

Great EDC gun especially for older shooters who have problems seeing their sights. Feels great in the hand. Have not gotten to shoot it yet due to Ammogedon going on right now knowing I will not be able to replenish. Laser is ambi operated but nothing else is. Slide lock is impossible to operate as a lefty and mag release is not reversible but I knew that going in.

Bud's processing was great. I ordered it late Friday, they shipped it first thing Monday and I picked it up from the FFL on Wed. The gun is very comfortable- I have large hands. After 200 or so rounds it's breaking in. It did not want load a full mag with the slide forward at first. Slide release is still stiff, but I think it needs more breaking in. Laser was on target out of the box. I really Ike it.

First, buds is awesomely fast and out of the MANY items I have purchased from them, they've been spot on accurate 95% of the time. Second, this is my second M&P Shield 9mm. The 2.0 is, in my opinion, a much better gun than its predecessor. Shot straight right of the box. Surprisingly the laser was right on as well! Probably not a typical experience across the board. I bought 3 extra mags and they all feed great. AND you can fit the actual amount the magazine states it can hold. I don't believe they changed much as far as the magazines go from the previous models, but it seems to feed much better in the 2.0. Springs do not seem near as tight out of the box. Buy it. You'll love it. Great summer gun, size wise for light clothing. Smith and Wesson made a very wise choice when they bought Crimson Trace. I look forward to the addition of CT to the larger models. Absolutely love this gun!! Perfect fit for my (little) hands. Learning defensive training with it because out of the 5 guns I own it truly works the best!! Highly recommended for women who are interested in conceal carry weapon choice!! Men will love it too :)
