I may come back and edit this as time goes on, but for now - not impressed. Took it to the range and shot 1450 CPS rifled slugs, as recommended in the instruction manual. (It says to use at least 1400 FPS ammunition for the break-in period). Well, here is a breakdown of the first six rounds: 1. FTE 2. FTE 3. Clean 4. Clean 5. Double-feed 6. FTE Yikes. Stopped after that and switched to another gun. I'll keep trying and see if things change. Thus far, I would not buy this gun again.

I just got it haven’t had a chance to fire it yet however I love the fact that the magazines are sturdy metal and not cheap plastic. The shotgun itself is really cool !! Excited to shoot it!!

Just got out for the first time today to shoot this shotgun. I love the feel of holding it and the rubber butt end is great absorbing the recoil. I had no issues with slugs, but the lighter 1200fps buckshot did not eject and load well. I hope this is just a problem with it being new and will be better when shot more (broke in).

I’ve put close to 500 shells thru this gun. Everything from slugs, 00 Buck, to #6 birdshot. Never a jam. It cycled them all. I replaced the handle and front site with a reflex sight on top and a green laser on the bottom rail. Seems sleeker.

Haven't gone to the range with it yet. But I love the AR style shotgun. It is a little big though

Very nice shotgun. Only about 100 rounds through it but works great on everything from birdshot to high velocity #2 steel shot. very good quality at a great price.

Shotgun is bulky but it performs pretty well but both magazine's that come with it are junk constantly cause jams, I found that magpull makes magazine’s that fit into this weapon that are much more reliable but they are pricey.

Great for the price. Would look in to 3" or lower next time. 2 3/4 is way easier to find.

Nice semi-auto 12 gauge. Decent groups with rifled slugs out to 50yards. Reliable so far. Very AR like controls. Well built. Happy with the purchase.

so in my ventures into CHEAP foreign guns this is one of my absolute favorites!!! it has had a few short cycles in the break in period, the gun stays pretty tight in rapid fire!! i tested the promag 10rd mag, its fine, tested the 20rd drum it also works well but im concerned about how much weight on the mag release bar a fully loaded drum puts on it. the only issue i have found across multiple Turkish shotguns is that they all take Benelli mobile chokes however, the chokes are not interchangable between models!!!!!!!!! and im having a hard time finding chokes that fit the KRX. it does come with a tactical choke which is ok but i want the option to reduce total length and a little weight if i want with a flush fit choke. i see that the price of this one has gone up substantially since i bought it, still worth the money i think!!

Bud's did fine as they normally do. I took it to the range yesterday. It's advertised as a lightweight tactical shotgun but take a look at the weight. It's not light. The mags are metal and feel like they weight a pound each empty! Gun and mags come super stiff but will loosen out over time. So stiff that the bolt release wouldn't load shells. Had to pull on the charging handle to load but it started to loosen up. Seems well made. Do check the choke before shooting for looseness and keep checking it while shooting as it loosens up. Overall Tristar makes pretty nice shotguns as I have other ones. While I like the removable mags, the raptor is easier to handle all a way around. Easier to load. Don't have to carry an extra mag!

Love it. Shoots really well. Only gripe was that there was no mention of the ammo to use in the manual. It requires a 100 round break in with 1250 fps rounds or larger. But with the right rounds it is silky smooth.
