Quick and easy process with Buds. Took the gun out to shoot..3 shells thru it and it locked up and will not do anything. Buds says they can't help, contact Mossberg. Have to ship it to Mossberg on my dime. Will see what kind of customer service they produce....

Love any Mossberg shotgun, and the 410 is no exception. Its rugged as a tank and is very smooth to operate. No issues whatsoever with loading or ejecting. A very good shotgun for the money.

Buds service excellent as usual. Shipping was very fast. As for this 410, wow mossberg knows there stuff. Excellent quality for the purpose for which the shotgun is made and 3 inch shells, very little recoil. Very light so you can carry all day long.

I had earlier bought a different gun and bought Bud's life time warranty. Glad I did as this other gun needed to go back for repairs. I asked them to consider substituting the Mossberg 500 if the other couldn't be repaired. I am not really sure if the other one was ever repaired, but at the end of the time period, they granted my wish, for which I am grateful. The .410 Mossberg 500 gives me a light weight gun I can play around with at Sporting Clays and take dove hunting. The gun is brand new, but it seems to be well built of real wood and steel. I watched a video to learn how to take it apart and it went well. I suspect it will last me my entire life and the life of the grandchild who ends up with it down the road. It is a fixed full choke. I did not want screw in chokes. I may ask a gunsmith to open the choke to modified. I consider this gun a very good value.

The packaging was not the best from the company , but upon inspection every thing was ok. The action of the pump mechanism at first was real stiff , but after disassembly and a good cleaning and oiling it worked very well . Satisfied with operation and with the quality of the shotgun .

I got this 410 just for some shooting fun and I thought it wud be more economical to shoot than my 12 gauge. Little did I know that 410 shells are a lot more expensive. The dealer explained that it was not that common as the 12 gauge and they don't manufacture as many shells which drives up the price. But, it's fun to shoot, hardly any kick even with the 3" #4's It's light weight, good looking but costs twice as much to shoot as my 870. Oh well, I can afford it.

Used the shotgun this weekend for Quail hunting.. nice trigger pull, breaks easily.. and great field gun for the price. Let's face it I'm not gonna shoot clay targets, and this thing is getting some real use in the field.. I would suggest this shotgun for any first gun for small bird. light to carry as well As always Bud's service was fantastic, the shotgun arrived in two days WOW__ THANKS BUD'S

Little to no recoil. This is a great gun to teach young / inexperience shooters. Super light weight. I've shot skeet and sporting clays with it, and it's a little more difficult to make contact than my long barrel 12GA's with open chokes. This has a fixed full. I still give it a 5 out of 5 because of the fun factor/ challenge factor. Back to basics baby!
