This is an awesome loader for the Mini-14 magazine. I use 5.56/.223 stripper clips and I never had a problem loading the magazine. You just have to take your time and do a smooth motion. The loader also works great without stripper clips but just slower.

I had to modify the mag holder as the product I received didn't fit my magazines. A simple fix that works. otherwise the loader works as designed

Good product, certainly saves thumbs. A bit finicky holding it “just right”, especially with clipped rounds - much better loading loose rounds, just take care that the last round is actually loaded in correctly as it’s easy to have one with the rim hung on the edge of the mag.

Very excited to find a quick and easy way to reload mags for my Mini. My first try was a bit of a fail because I didn't have the angle right when I attempted to lower the strip loader into the mag. Some bullet tips caught the lip of the mag and fell on the floor. However, when I more carefully aligned the strip loader as I lowered it into the mag it worked flawlessly. Eureka! Wish I'd have bought this years ago.

Does a great job with metal magazines, Doesn’t seem to work on polymer mags for some reason. Tried on various different polymer mags to no avail. That said, it’s easy to set up and load with loose rounds and is sturdily built.

Very handy device to speed up loading Ruger mini-14 magazines. It does take a few cycles for the tool to loosen up and work smoothly, but than it works great. Everyone with a Ruger mini-14 should have one of these speed loaders.

Fantastic loader. Makes loading my 5 and 10 round mags easy. Stack rounds in the loader, and magazine is loaded in seconds. Can't give any feedback on larger capacity mags.My only concern is the plastic construction. I may have to buy another one as a backup.

This speed loader does the job!
Hand loading sucks, especially the last few rounds in a 20/30 round mag. Regardless of whether your rounds are clipped or loose feeding this loader, it racks them up into the mag slicker than deer guts on a door knob!

This is must have when owning a 223/556 firearms. It’s very easy to load and use w/o reading the instructions
