We are Arms Trainers at Gunport. Recently we had a father and son come in with a 410 simi-auto, good shotgun too long. Young 12-year-old trying to shoot skeet. We offered the father our Mossberg 410 pump. Shot story, son started to hit every clay. The sun rose on his smile. This shotgun can be tailored to youth length with adjustable pull. This is a starter gun for a youth that can grow with them until its ready to be passed on. This is the school solution!!

bought this shotgun for my grandson’s to go deer hunting with me last year. The gun performed great, through a scope on it and it worked great for them.

We use this trusted Mossberg model 510 in .410 for self-defense. We keep it loaded with 3 inch 000 buck that delivers 5 pellets at 1135 feet per second with minimal kick. It is a youth model so it’s short, light and quick. In a few years it will be perfect for my Granddaughter to go bird hunting with. I have already shot patterns on cardboard that are very even with 2 ½ inch #8 shells. Perfect.

This is a great weapon for young kids. My 9 year old scrawny daughter shoots it very well and is already bagging squirrels with it on a regular basis. It is just as bomb-proof as you would expect any model 500 to be. It would also be a heck of a home defense shotgun for smaller framed folks that may want something with a more manageable recoil than other home defense weapons chambered in 20ga or 12ga.

Great service from Buds.....now about the shotgun....Pros: Lightweight....Good beginner shotgun for younger shooters. Cons: seem to have a little more cycling (especially when using 3 inch shells) than the 20 or 12 ga guns. Overall, pleased with purchase.

Got this for home security and varnant control, it's a great lightweight shotgun and just fun to shoot. Would've like to seen better ammo capacity but all in all great gun for the price point.

As a dainty female with small hands and a huge fear of loud, sudden noises, I thoroughly enjoy shooting this shotgun....watch out bad guys!!!
