Great handgun for the money, good looking and fun to shoot, the disassembling of it is a little weird, and info on the web about this one is not much, but I totally recommend it, it is quality made for sure.

This gun is accurate and reliable with brass cased ammo. It would not extract steel cased ammo. It kicks like a mule. I should have known being a blowback pistol. Nice fit and finish. The thumb safety rubs badly if you use a thumbs-high grip.

About the gun, really like it, shoots better than expected, its smaller than I thought but for me is a perfect size, I wont throw it in my back jeans pocket for sure, its an all around gun for me. I am very sure this gun the mc14 will become a very known name with time. Already over 250 rounds of different ammo no problems at all.

Greetings, This is without doubt a great handgun, out of the box it was super clean, and DRY, and after proper lubrication, went to the range and was amazed at the quality of this gun, the fit and finish are Sig like: close tolerances, hammer forged, hard chromed barrel, excellent trigger pull both double and single action, tight smooth action, and super accuracy!!! They are produced by Girsun in Turkey, and imported by Chiappa. Turkish factories produce great firearms, at even better prices. This pistol IS IN FACT locked breech with soft recoil! My first purchase from Buds. The CPA MC14 380 is described as a "short recoil". The correct term is blow back. The barrel is locked into the frame. The recoil a bit snappy like my other blow back 380s. It still is a good choice and is comparable to a Beretta 84(F) .Or a Taurus PT58S, pre ban 12 shot. (both are out of production) As a side note the mags from the Beretta 84 work fine. The MC14 mags do have a nice finger holder that is not on the Beretta mags. This trigger is good at both single and double action. There is some take up in the single action mode, the trigger bar is right out the Beretta handbook. At the range after a light oiling. Groups were with in sheet of paper at 25 yards, off a rest. and for me about 4" down and 4" left of the aim point. I had no misfires, or any problems with feeding. At 7 yards is is very easy to rip through the 13 rounds and do sheet of paper groups. Fit and finish are at he same high level I have come to expect from Turkish produced guns. The rear sight is drift adjustable. As it turns out is should be a good gun for bowling pins (after I move the rear sight) as aiming at the neck should put hits in the beef of a pin. If you are looking for a locking breach 380 with a about 4 inch barrel you are going to have to go up the price ladder.
