Well made 1911. Tight and functions as it should.

The experience shopping with buds is great as always. I’ve made several purchases without hiccup. Always fast to process and ship. The tisas A1 1911 is a great value. Tight lock up and slide to frame fit. Great finish and quality. I’d definitely recommend and I’m also purchasing another 1911 in 9mm.

The Tanker 1911 45 I have only been able to shoot 50 rounds of hand loads, but had no feeding or ejecting problems. When I cleaned it I did a full take down all but the trigger spring and every thing were tight fitting. A very good buget gun.

I own all sizes 1911s from different makers. I am an amateur gunsmith. This A1 Tanker is one great gun! Zero barrel play, great tolerance, with an 18 lb main spring and some polishing, it pulls at 2.5 lbs crisp with no overtravel and very little uptake! The plastic grips had to go but that's about it! The price might sound too good be true but what can I say...sometimes you do not get what you paid for!

Unique 1911 that has a great appearance and fine finish. Really like the fact that it is a 9-shot .45 caliber. Functions very well.

Very nice 1911, not just for the price either. The build is solid and tight. Functioned flawlessly out of the box. For ascetic reasons and comfort, I ended up changing the trigger, hammer, and grip safety. All parts fit perfectly and did not have any negative effects on how this weapon performed. Another great buy at a great price from Buds.

This pistol is only fit for range use. It had significant shortcomings that cause me to not recommend this model for a self defense weapon, even at a discounted price. Out of the box, I experienced nose dive FTFs with the original and my CM and Colt mags. Polishing the chamber helped relieve this issue with the OEM mags, but my 8rd mags still have feed issues. The hammer is quite prone to biting and needs to be bobbed. Stick to a version with a commander style hammer and a beavertail grip safety to avoid this issue.

Solid firearm. I wanted a traditional model of the 1911A1 and SDS provided that. Solidly build and shoots great. I changed the plastic grips with rosewood double diamonds. The only FTF were some hollow points with small burrs on the rims of the shells. The Tisas/SDS series is not the most expensive firearms on the market but they are not cheaply made. The fit and finish is good. Keep them clean and lubricated and they will perform well.

I really like Tisas, this one has not disappointed. First of all, Buds had the best price, free shipping too! Got it in two days. now, the gun.......great shooting, accurate, and just plain quality. The fit and finish is better than way more expensive ones I own. I have no trouble with the nubbie sights many grip about, but then again was weaned on since 1968. Love the 70 series Government models. This one is a better carry, but I still carry other than. This is my 3rd Tisas 1911 model, can't go wrong for 349.00. Get one while still priced low.....only going to increase.

A solidly made, no frills, pistol which was trouble free right out of the box (White box FMJ 230 grn). The fit & finish are entirely satisfactory for the price as is the trigger. At some point, I may try to upgrade the sights but for the time being, I’ll paint them. The hammer spur needs more aggressive texture which is probably why the manual advises pinching the spur to lower the hammer. I was expecting 7 round mags and I was pleased that it came with two Megar 8 rounders. It’s not an heirloom though I expect it will last for years

I was suprised by how well made this budget 1911 was. However, it is does not feed a lot of the hollow point brands. Ball rounds feed great and is fun to shot. For what it is and the price it's worth it.

I was not expecting much so I was really surprised this is a fine pistol fit and finish are great and fires like a well made 1911

great price, super-fast shipping, and I am really happy with my purchase. it will shoot about any brand of ammo you put in it. it is not picky. I have had no issues and have owned it for about a year and shot over 700 or more rounds. trigger is a little gritty but no big deal. would buy again and would recommend...

Liked my 1st 1911 from Tias I bought the Tanker 1911 from Bud's !

Purchasing this gun from Bud's was extremely easy and hassle free. I have only fired 100 rounds to date but it shoots great ... tight groups at 7 yards no problem and no issues with the ammo I used. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent price and quality 50 rounds in starting to have some magazine feed issues tried Magpul mag and problem fixed. Fixing to change over to night sights next.

This is a very nice crisp pistol! Trigger is very nice and the gun is nicely packaged in a very sturdy case with brushes and tools to disassemble, 2 magazines. Extremely happy with purchase.

I bought this same pistol in full size and liked it enough to order this compact "TANKER" model as a companion. Forged parts and everything a basic 1911 should be. Great value, and I am well pleased.

Went to the range with my brand new Tanker and I gotta tell you, it has a kick!! Ran 50 rounds and it worked perfectly. Would recommend this pistol to anyone. Cant beat the price and Bud's is the best!!
