Quality rifle and great services from Buds. Won't go anywhere but Buds to get my products...

I wanted to love this gun for a budget 308 but even after 2 different scopes and have a gunsmith lap the rings and go over it we still couldn't get it shooting like it should. Disappointed with this one which is a bummer.

Haven't had much of an opportunity to shoot this but have been really pleased with the way it shoots when I've had the opportunity. Very pleased with the purchase.

Just got my Weahtherby Vanguard S2 .308. The rifle is beautiful, light, and fit perfectly in my hand. This is my first time purchased a rifle from Budsgunshop and overall very satisfied with the communication and transaction. The delivery part did took a while due to a severe winter weather in Texas. I was a little disappointed to see the a price dropped within a week of my purchased from $610 to $572 on the same rifle. My timing was bad on buying from Buds.

It is a .308 that does what it is suppose to. I unboxed it, cleaned and re-oiled it, put a Vortex Viper 4-16 scope on it, zeroed at 200yds, and went hunting. It shoots really well, clean and crisp trigger, and was shooting silver dollar size 5 shot groups at 200yds. Can't ask for much more than that.

Solid gun. Smooth action. Getting ready to mount scope and shoot this weekend.

Purchasing firearms from Bud's has always been a pleasurable experience without question. This is the first Weatherby rifle I ever bought I was very interested in finding a rifle with MOA under 1 inch although my first few attempts were not successful this is a 308. So I tried 125 150 165 grain bullet reloads Hornaday SST. So I started looking the rifle over and notice that it did not have a free-floating barrel, so I took the stock off and started working on it to where I got it to be where it was a free-floating barrel it took several attempts unfortunately. But now I'm shooting 3/4 inch groups and I think with a little more work I could probably get into 1/2 inch. A little note it appears it likes the 125 and 150 grain bullets not the 165's. So to make a long story short I got the rifle I was looking for and very well pleased with it now.I would it gave it a five if the barrel was free floated

This is the first weatherby vanguard s2 ive bought. im very pleased with the nice quality and how well this gun is built. I put a nice ffp mil dot scope on it and use it for my long range gun. out of all my guns its my favorite. the fit and finish and quality is awesome. you cant go wrong with it. and the moa guarantee is the truth. Shoots tight groups under 1 moa. wow out of the box while breaking the barrel in too. would buy another in a heartbeat.
