The Federal P308TC3 150 grain bullet is a lead free copper bullet. Since this is a 100 % copper bullet, it has deep penetration characteristics, more so than a partition or an accubond bullet. Accuracy averages between 1/2 to 3/4 MOA at 100 yards using a Remington 700 5R 24 inch milspec bolt action rifle. This round features a nickel plated case for smoother feeding and extraction along with better corrosion resistance. Overall, a good quality strong bullet that should maintain close to 100 % weight retention. A good round for hunting anything from deer to elk. A high performance round that will give any other 308 bullet a run for its money.

The most accurate in my Weatherby Vanguard. Five shot groups less than 1 inch at 100 yards. Slightly more than 2 inches at 200 yards for five shot groups. Buck walked only 10 feet after a double lung shot at 170 yards. When I say most accurate, I mean that I have tried 20 other 308 rounds (different weigh bullets from five manufacturers) and these are the best.
