Great gun for under $200 when purchased in dec 2021. Very nice finish and chromed parts. Does what it should. This boomstick should be in any collection.

I bought this shotgun with the idea of getting into tactical shotgun competition. After less than 6 months of use, the magazine catch was no longer reliably holding shells in the magazine. My gunsmith diagnosed the problem as excessive wear - after less than 500 shells. Do not recommend.

I did my research before purchasing, so I wasn’t really surprised with the quality. Nice reasonable priced semi auto shotgun. Do yourself a favor and take it down completely and oil it up before use if you notice it’s dry as mine was. Follow the guidelines for break in period. After that, it runs 1250 fps and up like a dream. This gun is solid. Fit and finish is what you would expect from a gun priced this well. For the price and what you get…5 stars.

I caught this at a cheaper price and am glad I bought it. This is a really good shotgun and I have fed it everything with no issues. Buds as always was great.

Very happy with the Tristar Raptor Atac. Follow the recommendation of running some heavy loads, it will then run what ever you feed it. Fit and finish was better than I expected it to be. Might need to buy another for the deal Buds has on the then now!

Very happy with this purchase. Have shot about 25 double 0 rounds thru it and it functioned perfect. For the price you cannot beat this gun. The gun seems to be built very well and has a good feel.

Good gun for the money imports are a gamble but I am happy and the tac star mag tube ext. model 1081504 for the mossberg 935 fits perfectly even better than one for the REM 870 that every one calls out for it on YouTube

Very nice gun for under $200.00 bucks with that being said you never know what you will get when it comes from Turkey so it is a bit of a gamble I ordered 3 and was very happy with all 3

After 100 heavy loads it was broke in and cycles everything down to light trap loads.

Been researching this gun for quite some time. I recently 'pulled the trigger' and made the purchase. Ordering online was a breeze. The gun came in a day before delivery estimate. As with all new guns, i disassembled the gun, cleaned it, lubed it, and reassembled it. Im a factory armorer for a couple different major firearms manufacturers and was pretty impressed with how this shotgun is put together, taking bits and pieces from a few major makers to build a simple operating shotgun. Per the instructions included with the gun, i shot only full power loads through it to start with. I fired 45 shells consisting of 00 buck and rifled slug. The gun functioned perfectly. I did note that the choke tube was loose every three or four shots. I cleaned the gun and really liked that many parts of the gun seem to be hard chromed. Cleaning these parts took nothing more than wiping down with a paper towel. Handy. I put some thread lock on the choke tube while cleaning the gun. A couple days later, I fired 10 1oz slugs at 50 yards. The gun loves slugs. Its a slug shooting machine. It puts them one on top of another like a rifle. The thread lock seems to have remedied the choke tube loosening up. The gun is L-I-G-H-T. Its punishing even to this 200 lb cop who isnt typically bothered by recoil. The recoil 'pad' on the gun isnt much of a 'pad' at all! Its hard as a rock and is actually sculpted almost to a point at the rear. I dont think it would be too hard to manufacture the gun with a real recoil pad. Since the gun is working so well, i added an adjustable stock and a 3 shot magazine extension, which puts the magazine capacity to (8)2-3/4 shells and runs right to the end of the shotgun's barrel. Still functions great and the recoil pad on the new stock tames the recoil tremendously. Ive now fired well over 100 shells through the gun. Ive had one shell fail to chamber. A tap forward on the operating handle solved that. In summary, the gun i received runs like a sewing machine. Ive been very impressed considering the price. Its reliable. Its light. Its very accurate. Its simple. Its inexpensive. I cant imagine anyone not liking this shotgun.

I was looking for close-in (50 yards and less) semi-auto shotgun when coyote hunting to back up my Ruger 204. Wanted to keep weight down, needed something that handled fast, and didn't break the bank since this was going to be a single purpose gun. I took a chance on the TriStar Raptor ATAC for $321 through Bud's. Gun is 3” gas operated, semi-automatic tactical shotgun that allows you to shoot light to heavy loads. Removable choke system that uses Beretta® Mobile threads includes one choke tube , choke box and choke wrench. Injection molded stock w/ fixed pistol grip and forearm. The Raptor ATAC features: Magazine Cut-Off, Bridge Front Sight with Fiber Optic Bead, Picatinny Rail with Ghost Ring Sight Mounted, 5 Round Magazine, Chrome-lined Chamber and Barrel, Swivel Studs, Extended Beretta® Mobile Choke. Backed with a five-year mechanical warranty. Since the gun will also be used for night hunting with a red led, I mounted a short piece of picatinny rail forward of the magazine for quick connect of the light. I also removed the ghost ring and fiber optic front sight in lieu of a AR Optics Advance Red Dot Sight from Bushnell for quick night time target acquisition. IT is 1x-magnification matte black finish and projects a 5 MOA red dot. Also replaced the original choke tube with a Carlson's Choke Tube 12GA Beretta & Benelli Mobil Ported Coyote special. Really tightens up the Hornady 00 buck coyote loads. So far very satisfied with the gun, no failures to feed, soft shooting, quick handling. Killed a coyote out to 62 paces a few weeks back.

fast shipping from buds gun as always. works very well for me. had to struggle with it a bit in the beginning (i.e. few malfunction during the break in period, disassembly of the barrel was harder than usual, etc) but after shooting & cleaning it a few time it works well. recoil pad is hard as a rock. i wish it came with a normal stock rather than a pistol grip as i use it primary for hunting and find the pistol grip to be a disadvantage. you get what you pay for, but it works for me.

Transaction through Buds went smooth and fast....always does. Gun arrives and took it apart for a good cleaning before taking it to the range. I did purchase 50 rounds of #4 hi-brass for brake in. Pros: Made with first class materials. Fit and outside finish were very nice. Gun is well balanced and shoots smooth After below gun work shot all 50 rounds of hi-brass with out any failures. Cons: During initial break down and cleaning noticed catch points on inside receiver that I had to grind down with dremel. Also had to smooth some rough spots on rails. Choke tube had to be re-tighten every 5-7 shots Hate the size (too small) and placement of safety I have no regrets in the purchase. I've had over 10 shotguns so I was familiar with the product and was comfortable doing the extra work that I had to do. Just not sure that this is a purchase for someone that may not want to put a little extra work into the gun before shooting it. I really believe it is a gun that needs a lot of break in. It was much smoother after 100 rounds then before.
