this is a fine turkey shotgun for younger shooters and smaller framed individuals (read that as you choose!)

This Maverick shotgun is easy to use and comfortable to shoot. It has a nicely padded butt stock to help reduce recoil. It pumps and cycles rounds smoothly. I bought this for women and youth that come to shoot a gun for the first time. It’s nice and lightweight and a little shorter so it’s easier for beginners to handle. I would recommend getting this gun to anyone. 5 stars for this one from me. Enjoy and be safe!!!

It’s a good step up from a 410 for young boy. Not too heavy or long so they won’t fatigue out when using it. Works as it should

The maverick 88 20ga is an awesome gun. Not only is it super lightweight but it already has the youth stock on for easy defense manipulation. Buds was great as well, I had a slight hiccup on the shipping and they immediately took care of it.

Solid and inexpensive shotgun. Even though this is Mossbergs budget line most of the parts are actually for the 500. You're basically getting a 500 with less features and not just cheap parts.

Great little firearm to get somebody started on the world shotguns. I got this one to introduce my more recoil sensitive friends to shotguns. The gun never failed, and ate every shell we fed through it. The provided stock is very small, which is expected for a youth shotgun. We replaced it with a full size stock from Mossberg. Definitely would purchase again.

Buds service was excellent as always. The item was shipped very fast. As far as the item, the Maverick 88 in 20 gauge has been a bit disappointing. For some reason, out of the five shells loaded in the magazine, two or three fall right on the floor instead of loading from the magazine into the chamber as I pump the shotgun. It appears that the magazine stopper is defective. Will be contacting Mossberg soon. It appears that others have had the same issue with this model. Would not recommend!
