Customer Reviews for Remington VERSA MAX 12 GA 28" Left Hand Black

I purchased this as a new waterfowl gun to replace my Benelli M2. I chose the Versamax because of the 3 1/2 capability and because I haven’t heard anyone speak highly of the new Super Black Eagle lll. I now have roughly 1000 rounds through it and feel confident in my review. This is one soft shooting shotgun. I can honestly say it is hands down the softest shooting shotgun I have ever shot. The shims make it very easy to fit the gun to your stature and the green fiber optic bead is nice. Now to the bad, this gun is a jam machine. It has failure to feeds constantly. It has the worst trigger I have ever felt on any firearm ever. The trigger pull is long and feels like it breaks at about 10 pounds. The forearm is poorly fit and moves quite a bit even makes a rattling sound although I don’t believe it effects shoot ability. Overall, for the money I should have waited and found a used Super Back Eagle ll.
