Just perfect, what more can I say?

Buds did a great job in delivering and kept me informed though out the purchasing and shipping in a very timely fashion. I dreamed of a higher grade of walnut but don’t we all and they sent a really nice looking gun. I took four shots to sight in. Hornady 90 eldx is sub Moa in this rifle, I have a new favorite gun now! I have owned a few expensive guns that just did not satisfy. This ones a keeper.

Finally made the plunge to buying a super grade through Buds, and wow! Beautiful stock with figure, great metal work, etc., etc. and worth the high bucks when you really compare around. I really think it's better than the original model 70's by a long shot. I ordered it in 243 Win. because I think it's absolutely a great varmint cartridge, IF, you use Nosler Varmaggedon 55 grain tipped ammo ( expect half inch groups and better at 100 yds) , then slip a deer round in if you want to take a deer ( haven't found any that group well so far, but I reach for my 7X57 for deer anyway). I love to just fondle and look at the rifle - it's so pretty : just take the plunge, you won't regret it ! Also, Leupold Back Country scope mounts look good on this beautiful rifle and won't detract from appearances like the cheap mounts available will tend to do.

Gun was exactly as described on the website. Also had a better than expected walnut stock. Purchasing was simple and fast.

I like it. With these super grades you do not know what you will get until you open the box. Some have fantastic wood and others not so fancy. My 243 I ran a dollar bill under the barrel and it would not go to the receiver. I took it apart and in their bedding some material ran out onto the barrel shank. I used a tool to relieve it and set the trigger to 3 lbs. Using a handload of the speer 100gr bt It shoots under an inch. Lapua brass, RL 26 and a fed 210 primer set just kissing the lands when you smoke a bullet. I like it. Beautiful little rifle. You will like it too.
