Picked it up just today from my FFL (ordered on June 10th from Bud's, picked up today, June 12th) and I went straight to the range. Didn't even stop for gas! It's been hand worked and polished to perfection right out of the box, and both the single and double actions are as smooth as butter. Accurate, accurate, accurate! Consistently reliable and accurate! These are considered by most to be an entry level or low-end guns and for the most part they are correct but, this is my second one and they are both very accurate after they are broken in and not bad out of the box. I feel like I got a lot more for my money than I paid for just from the accuracy. The trigger is basically around 6 pounds so with a better trigger these guns would probably shoot as well or better than guns costing 3 times as much. Once they come out with some more calibers that I am interested in I will be buying more of them and just putting Timney triggers in them. I currently have the 308 and 270 and the 270 is as accurate as my Brownings that cost a heck of a lot more. The safety is not my favorite, but the bolt is 60 degree throw and pretty smooth.

The Taver TS12 is a light weight easy to operate for both women and men. Having spent many years in both civilian law enforcement and the Military Police, I find there are only a couple of small things that could use improvement. The charging handle will almost fall out, and the chokes, possibly, could be labeled somehow. I even had my elderly mother-in-law shoot it, and she hates guns, but she admired this one.
