I carried a Shield 1.0 for 9 years. I never had a single jam with that pistol—not one! Then I had cataract surgery and could no longer focus on my front sight. My groups were well centered but much larger than I was used to seeing. I was time to try a carry optic. I chose the Shield-Viridian green dot bundle because of my history with the Shield line, the improved capacity, the better trigger and the dot. I also liked being able to change magazines and change the pistol from a subcompact to a full size in about a second. I don't care about dot color. Green is fine. I don't mind removing the dot once a year to change out the battery. I really DID WANT the always-on, shake-awake and auto-brightness features. The dot arrived mounted to the Shield slide and sighted in to the top of the front sight. I made a small adjustment to the zero, then shot a qualification course with a half-size target at double the distance. I easily qualified with 100% hits and a numeric score higher than with the Shield 1.0 I have been shooting for almost a decade. I like this pistol a lot and the bundle is a fantastic value. Very fun and convenient. Plenty of room for accessories. Compact and easy to fold/unfold. Since it uses Glock mags it's very easy to find extra magazines in different capacities.

This is absolutely my favorite carry gun. I have small hands, and the PDP-F fits like a glove. It's a joy to shoot. A fine weapon.

Another fine product from Remington. I keep my Colt Cobra 38 loaded with it and I know I can depend on it. I also keep a speed loader nearby hopefully I never need it but it's there if I do.

Great shooting pistol! Always wanted one in .38 Super and with this one being on sale, it was an easy decision. Build quality is great, fit and finish are also great for the price point. Very accurate and fun to shoot. Only issue I have had is with the magazine that comes with this pistol…it will not allow the pistol to cycle properly all the time. Found after market mags at my local gun shop and problem solved! Since changing magazines, I have not had any issues with it cycling. I highly recommend this pistol.

Loading 30 - 30 round magazines the old fashioned way left thumbs sore. With this loader system it takes more time to stack the rounds in the loader than it does to swipe them right to left. I will be ordering a second one very soon.
