I can't say enough about this extremely well made pistol. The feel, and balance are exquisite. Incredibly flat shooting, and accurate. Canik has done it again with this one. The craftsmanship is incredible for the price you pay. Not to mention a top notch case and all the goodies included. More firearms manufacturers should take note. Canik got it right….again!
The price was right for this nice little shooter. Extremely accurate with a red dot installed with not feed issues using any of the magazines that came with the pistol. Shipping was quick to my FFL of choice, Bud's staff.
Eley makes great ammo whether you hunt or compete, or plink , they are all top notch . That being said ,your rifle will make the decision for you , as to which "blend" it likes the best . Mine favors the "Tenex"rifle, while Match was a close second . Good luck in your search . Jack
Love this gun, I'm very happy with my purchase. The ergonomics, style, grip is a little tight but fits my hand like a glove. Mag release is smooth, It's snappy but manageable.
Bought these for my Mossberg 590A1 with a birds head grip. I installed the opsol into the chamber so that now these shorter slugs cycle flawlessly. These slugs have much less recoil but still have ample power for self defense. I tested them at both 7 yards and at 25 yards using a red dot and point of aim was exactly the same at both distances. I was getting bullseyes at both distances with no effort...very flat and straight shooting at close distances..A++++++
If you enjoy carbines and don't want to spend a bundle of cash you will love the Hi Point 4095. I still like .40 SW and there arn't many carbine options out there anymore for that caliber so I decided to give Hi-Point a try. I am NOT disappointed! My unit functions perfectly right out of the box. First shots at 25 yards with peep sight are dead on center. No mis-feeds with random assortment of ammo I grabbed off my shelf. Yes it's a budget gun, is a little fat and clunky, has some plastic bits -but it's solid, fun to shoot, and just works.
I love this ammunition for my 22lr single shot rifle. They are accurate and so quiet out of a rifle. They will not cycle in my Ruger 10/22 semiauto even after installing a much lighter spring which is to be expected.
I was lucky enough to purchase one of these JSOC 1911 pistols with the Zippo and Gerber MK II knife. I've had this pistol (#65/500) for about a year now and wanted to share my feedback. The quality is fantastic! The pistol is manufactured by Tisas so no MIM parts and forged frame/slide. FYI: I contacted MAC to find out the factory spring weights and they told me 16# recoil spring and 21# hammer spring. I had an issue with 8-round mags where the 1st round would always nose-dive. It didn't matter which brand of mag I used, the same issue would occur, but 7-rounds always worked fine. I finally found a YouTube video (credit: channel is called JoeFromTheAfternoon) where he was experiencing the same issue. If you're having this nose-diving issue with fully loaded 8-round mags, then install an EGW HD Higher Mag Catch, which has a shelf that is 0.20 higher and holds the mag higher in the frame. This is my EDC, so I customized this JSOC 1911 with my favorite upgrades, which included: Changed the grips to G10 VZ Grips Changed all springs for Wolff springs (16# recoil & 23# hammer) Swapped-out the ambi safety for an EGW single-sided lower paddle thumb safety Swapped-out the trigger for a short serrated trigger without an over-travel screw Switched from factory mags to Cobramag I also love the Zippo and MK II knife as a bonus to the pistol. The only thing I would have changed from the factory would have been to use a rounded gold bead for the front sight instead of a brass bead, but I'm not planning to change it. MAC also sells the JSOC 1911 without the Zippo/knife and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that pistol to anyone who wants a really high quality 1911 at a great value compared to the current competition.
