I knew rock island made really good 1911's but I was stunned by this one. The fit was perfect. Absolutely no play anywhere whatsoever. Chambers and shoots everything no matter what I feed it. Czech mate! This is a solid revolver. Eight shots of 22lr in a 39 oz. revolver means zero recoil. Shoots on point and feels great in the hand. I will not be replacing the grips with wood as I usually since I'm happy with the feel. This is not a display gun even though with the beautiful finish it could be with some sweet walnut or rosewood grips. I'm keeping her the way she came.
