I primarily purchased this reduced-sized 1911 for my 12-year-old grandson to use during our plinking sessions. The day after it arrived from Bud's, I put 200 rounds of Mini Mag and Golden Bullet ammo through it for break-in purposes. I was amazed! This rimfire jewel impressed me in its finish, smooth action and flawless performance. Accuracy beat my expectations, grouping inside 2" at 15-yards, offhand. Now I'm seriously considering another 1911-22 Black Label Full Size, for myself! These little Brownings rise above the polymer models offered by competitive brands at this price point. I know. I own them, too. I am not a 1911 fan, for the most part, but these Black Labels are built with precision and are easy to learn and enjoy. I've heard rumors that Browning may be discontinuing production of these pistols, soon If that is true, now is the time to buy one for years of pleasurable shooting.

I received the dy9 quicker than I expected. Right after I picked it up went right to the range. It was stove piping. So I went home cleaned it up and lubed it. Went back to the range. Great gun for the price. Having been to the range 5 times in the month shoots Great. Thanks Buds Guns.
