I bought this as a novelty or conversation piece. Being that all I have ever heard about hi point is negative stuff, I wasn't expecting much but upon receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it's heavy, and yes breaking it down to clean takes a 1/8 pin punch and isn't as simple as my Glock or Springfield xds, but I took it to the range and ran around 150 rounds through it flawlessly. I'm very pleased. The gun looks great and fit the way I'd hoped it would. I took it to the trap range the day after picking it up from my FFL. 1st round I broke 23 in a row, the 2nd round I broke 19 in a row. That's not typical for me. The real test will come this Fall on Maine Woodcock and Grouse. Then Connecticut Pheasant. I'm hoping to avoid those looks my dog gives me when I miss a bird.

This is not a civilian type of shotgun. It is completely designed for War. When I held this in my hands again, it reminded me of urban warfare training in the Marine Corps back in the early 90s. The only shotgun I've had before is the Beretta semi-auto, which is close to the quality and reliability in combat. But this retro is built like a tank; it'll take abuse and give right back! It is a professional's shotgun. Now I'm finishing off with a sling, a tritium front sight, a SureFire flashlight, and a bayonet.

Loved my M70 underfold so much, wanted a Zastava in 5.56 for easier anmo availability and this rifle hit the spot. Grip and stock are comfortable, though not very "AK". Rifle runs great on all different brands of .223, 5.56 I tried, brass case, steel case Wolf and even old pre ban Russian steel cased soft tipped bullets. My rifle did come with a small scuff or spot of missing paint on the dust cover, and came on gas setting 1, where the manual suggested running it on setting 3 for the first 200 rounds to break it in. Overall happy with my purchase.

The rifle is exactly as ordered. Light weight, cushy butt pad, scope was easily mounted. Sling was easily mounted. Detachable 4 round magazine makes for easy loading, don't have to top load with scope and mounts in the way. Bolt and trigger are fine. Was able to get a 1 inch group with 1 box of shells while getting the scope zeroed for the rifle with 100grain bullets.
