IMHO these are copper plated flat nose, not bare lead round nose. Take a look at the photo. I have used them in long barrel and very short barrel handguns. No misfires, and no jams, unless the semi auto handgun was brand new. Even then only one jam in the first twenty or so rounds, and none thereafter until the semi auto was in dire need of cleaning.

"somebody" shot a coyote that was in a tipped over trash can in the neighbor's front yard. This round penetrated the thick plastic on the trash can apparently went through the coyote and out the other side of the trash can, apparently the coyote survived for a short moment managed to run across the street hop over the guardrail and fell down a small Cliff onto a public access trail. Somebody was jogging down the trail after the sun came up, and reported a dead animal to police. I was working that day. The troopers reported it to the constable who referred it to the sheriff's department who called the county animal control officer who referred it to the game warden, the game warden came in the neighborhood and was knocking on people's doors saying that the wound on the coyote was horrific and that he wanted to talk to the person that shot it because he wanted to know what type of ammunition was used. Well we are hicks, and the neighbors said that they didn't hear or see anything of course. I highly recommend this product.
