The Ruger American Compact 9mm appears to be well made, feels good in my hand, and is a pleasure to shoot. This gun, along with its sister the Ruger America Duty 9mm, are hands down the nicest Ruger auto pistols I own. Bud's Gun Shop's price and services were great. Shipment to my local FFL dealer was speedy and efficient. Overall, a good experience.
I have 425 rounds through this gun with no issues. I have run hollow points and FMJ in 115gr and 124gr bullets weights. I shot most of the rounds through the gun as it came, but I recently added the L back strap and the supplied 2 CZ grip extensions and it made a huge difference for me. I have 2XL hands and now it feels and shoots even better for me. Before you attempt to change the back strap, make sure you have the correct size of roll pin pun and watch a few videos on what you are getting into first. I couldn't believe how much effort it takes to drive the ridged pin out! It feels like something is wrong and was the tightest of any that I have ever encountered. This is a CZ P10 thing, not isolated to this model or anything. I can makes consistent hits at 20 and 25 yards and the trigger is very predictable which is great. It make only have a 3.5" barrel, but you would never know shooting it. It definitely shoots like a 4" gun that is larger than this thing actually is. I like this gun a lot, especially for the price point. I plan on adding a Streamlight and a red dot at some point. If this was the only 9mm gun that I had, I would feel well equipped for carry and home defense with no question.
Picked up at my local FFL gun shop. That all couldn't beleive the price and quality for this Micro Hellpup. They asked to take video & bring in of shooting this in the evening with the huge fireballs while plinking at my metal gongs. What Fun

Purchased two of the anniversary models to save for my grandsons. Both arrived in perfect condition and the stocks on both look great. They standout from the standard 10/22. This is a very nice rim fire 17 Hmr rifle for the money and it came with a "coupon" for a Viridian 3-9x40 scope. You can purchase the scope separate to add it with the rifle, and they make a nice pair to have.
