Gorgeous design, the action is so buttery smooth and all the machining is amazingly precise. I have tried one other revolver, an older smith. That one was nice but there's a noticeable difference in how perfectly everything feels like it fits together on the Python. Yes, the difference practicality-wise may not be different to other comparable and cheaper revolvers. However, if you like the look of the Python and it's within your budget, you won't regret it.

This is the third Ruger SR1911 that I have purchased from Buds. This pistol is exactly what I was looking for. My full weight SR1911 CMD was a bit much for carrying and this lightweight SR1911 CMD is the perfect weight for carrying. The shootability difference between the full weight and lightweight model is negligible with an appropriate grip and I have been able to keep similar groupings between the two. Overall another great gun from Ruger and smooth purchase process through Buds.

Much improved no burs on the Bolt. Action was smooth. Ran well with round and hollow points even with semi wadcutter with a little trouble, but it worked.the finish is good. The magazine follower is still green plastic but the bear tooth steel one is a good replacement. I have the Lee replacement springs but it doesn't seem to need it. Stock is ok it's solid. Over all it's better than previous Rossi. Shoots and functions well out of the box.

Really nice hooks....they have a black no scratch coating and are plenty strong enough for use in my gun safe...

Great rifle for the price point.

Mounted onto ruger ar556. Looks and feels solid. I purchased this thinking green dot would be better for bright daylight situations, but honestly with the brightness settings on this optic I imagine the red dot sight is just as visible in daylight settings as the green dot, so if that is your deciding factor for red vs green, I believe which color you choose doesn't matter. Also I have astigmatism and I still have a Starburst when looking through the optics so I don't think that matters much either. Really just buy whichever color optics you prefer. Other than that, awesome scope for a good price, definitely worth the money.

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this rifle at the price point. Optics are great and right out of the box it was nearly dialed in at 100 yards. Mossberg has made a great quality hunting and sporting rifle that is lightweight and has the features of some of the the more expensive products. No regrets and will be buying another without any doubt for choices in caliber.
