I have been a Buds Gun Shop member for over 10 years. They have absolutely the best Shipping and Customer Service. I got the text from my FFL who only is about a mile from me, that my Bodyguard 2.0 was in. I went over to pick it up and was Extremely impressed. Smith and Wesson have brought the 380acp back to a Very Nice Micro Pistol. I put it on top of my Wallet for a size Comparison for people who haven't seen or held one in Person. It might look like a Micro Pistol, but when you pick it up and look down the Very Nice Sights. It actually feels like a Sub Compact from it's Ergonomics. The Attention to Detail and the New Trigger is Outstanding. This Pistol loaded with the Underwood Extreme Defender 68gr have put 380acp back as a formidable Carry Option. I also am a Fan of the Federal Hst 99gr Hydra Shok Deep Penatration. I took it home and broke it down for a nice cleaning and lube job. I grabbed my Storage Container for 380acp Ammo and to the range. I first ran 2 boxes of Magtech FMJ at 7-10 and 25yds. Mine was hitting right on Point of Aim. At 25yds I was getting fist size groups. I ran a box of the Underwood Extreme Defender Platinum 68gr and Federal Hst 99gr. Both were flawless. So far I am impressed. I want to get 500rds before putting it in my Carry Rotation. But for now don't hesitate about getting it. This Pistol has done for 380acp what the Sig P365 did for 9mm. Safe Shooting

For inexpensive plinking, practice, training new shooters, for great accuracy (and since it's a revolver, rat-shot capable in case you're not that accurate); and with the Winchester magnum cylinder in it, it's good for the nightstand too, if it's all you've got. This fun, safe and rugged revolver will last a lifetime. And if not, Ruger will usually fix it for free. You can carry all 6 loaded in the cylinder because of a safety feature preventing strikes if you drop it and it lands on the hammer (like the old single-action revolvers would allow)

Rugged bolt-action reliability; tack-driving accuracy; great warranty from Ruger, with a history of quality; American made... what's not to like? Chambered in true 5.56, so there's no soft pin-strike issues like CZ600's .223. (due to 5.56's harder primers). And no chamber strength questions like .223 rifles made to weaker US .223 specs. Chambered in 5.56 this gun is THE perfect survival rifle capable of utilizing the millions of rounds left when the last of your AR's spare-parts run out. And in that vein, it takes the same STANAG/NATO magazines as the AR-15 m4/m16. For general use, especially if you run out of bigger bore ammo, and for weight savings you'll be glad you bought this particular rifle in 5.56. And to all of that, the Patrol version of the Ruger American adds a heavier "bull" barrel for strength, stability and coolness under heavy use.

Does everything it's supposed to. Had a little trouble opening it twice, had to break it open on the edge of the table but after 100 rounds it functions fine.

Called local shop and they had both 5.56 and.300 black out.. I bought both. Actions are so smooth. Hopefully take a few coyotes at camp this winter. I also have .4570 Henry. Best lever actions made
