Seems to work great for what it is. It is long, but that was to be expected.

Shoots well without sticking in the cylinder in the Taurus Judge. The Henry Axe also runs without trouble with this cartridge. Tight pattern at close range. It is clearly an excellent self defense cartridge. I can count on a quality round.

Great gun by Henry! I own many, many rifles and this has become one of my favorites. Tube load or side gate loading. Very accurate right out of the box. 4-5" groups at 100 yards with iron sights. 2-3" at 50. Dont know if I will put optics on, makes a great open sight gun. Highly satisfied.

Overall great firearm. Fantastic modern recreation of a classic handgun you don't feel guilty to shoot. Does have some things that if you're more used to modern handguns might seem weird, such as the lack of front/backstrap checkering, and if you're someone who gets sweaty palms when shooting like me, there will be a little more slip and jump than you'd expect due to the lack of those features. No stars taken off of the score for that though since it is attempting to be as close to faithful to the original as it can be, but just something to keep in mind. Do wish the blueing was more faithful to the original though, but the more satin finish isn't terrible.

Excellent gun for the price i paid. Little recoil, shoots good. Looks great, i could not be happier.
