Classic rifle, classic round, and gorgeous as well. Bolt is strong and smooth to operate. Buds is always easy to work with , and kept me well informed on delivery of rifle to their store , and when to pick up.

Replaced my Sig P365 with this. I won't ever look back, the trigger is so smooth and the gun is a joy to shoot and use for EDC. Kimbers are top tier.

I am very happy with this rifle. Ruger did a great job building it and Buds did a great job getting it to me. I was worried that it might not be that accurate. I can tell you that it is very accurate! I'm very happy with Buds and Ruger...you won't be disappointed!

nice shooting gun out of the box

First, a note about magazines: Bud's and the manufacturer's website state "AICS COMPATIBLE." This may not mean what you think it does, the ONLY magazines the chassis accepts are AICS mags. Your factory (Ruger, in my case) DOES NOT FIT. Plan to purchase at least one AICS mag. Having run AR platform rifles for coyote hunting for years I decided to try a bolt gun. After a few hours scanning I learned that holding it "like a rifle" was putting a strain on my wrist. I ordered the MDT chassis to help change my wrist angle, and it helped tremendously. What I didn't anticipate was that my groups would tighten significantly. This chassis needed to after purchase work like bedding, it just WORKS! Highly please with this purchase, and I now recommend it to all of my friends. Will be buying more MDT chassis for some of my other bolt guns!
