After thoroughly testing this JHP gen 2 with a wide variety of JHP ammo, it has been 100% reliable after over 200 rounds. I have decided to use Federal 230 grain HST +P for my home defense load. It sits on my nightstand ready for action, if needed. The recoil is quite manageable due to its size and weight, and the adjustable rear sight lets me hit to point of aim at 10 yards. The light on the pic rail dampens recoil even more. If you want a lifetime warranty on a low cost very reliable home defense handgun, this is a very good option. Not a practical concealed carry weapon, but for a nightstand gun, it is excellent.

Chronoed and got 1200fps average, but with a large 100 fps extreme spread. I like this load for practice due to cost, but itd be nice if it was a bit more consistent through a 5" barrel with .004 gap.

Seems to perform great in my 5" .004 gap SW. Box says 1200fps for 2", and I got 1380fps from my 5".

Bought this for plinking and so my son had more than 10rds at time to shoot. I find myself shooting it more than him. No trouble at all with this gun unless you don't clean it for 5 to 7 hundred rds. Then it might jam a few times but it's great like all 10/22's. Nothing but good things to say
