the day came to take this weapon to the range and I told all of my coworkers to come and check it out UNTIL I fired it and I got off 20 rounds and then BAM the weapon would not fire and it just kept on jamming so when I opened it up the spring came out and I was puzzled on how this could be but when I look into it further I noticed that the pin in the but of the weapon was gone that's because the pin that holds back the spring was broken so I had to take my weapon to my gunsmith who by the way was shocked and looking into that further he told me that the part was made with cheap metal and it is called POT METAL that means weak material so he replace it problem solved right nope cause when I went back to the range for the second time the same thing happen again. so tomorrow I am going to take it back to my gunsmith to see what can be done to fix this problem but to me this weapon is just a piece of crap and I can't believe that this weapon has this problem and like I am supposed trust this with my life no way and I recommend that you DON'T BUY THIS WEAPON for your protection it will fail you when you need it the most so just don't do it ,

This is a wonderful firearm to own. I tried three different factory loads and I had all three loads touching at 100 yards. All the groups were four shots each. The velocity chronographed with the Winchester 150 grain ballistic silver tip was 2,956 ft per second out of the short 20-in barrel. The Hornady 150 grain soup performance was chronographed at 2,968 feet per second. I am extremely happy with this entry level Savage because it shoots as good and as fast as any custom rifle I've ever seen shot or fired myself.

Ran 100 rounds through it the day I picked it up, 50 PPU 71gr HP and 50 Winchester 71gr FMJ, 0 malfunctions. Very accurate and reliable. Was not surprised as I have a Thunder 380 since 2006 that has given me 0 problems.

I have recently purchased a S&W model 642 Pro Series revolver. I have owned a number of S&W firearms and all have proven to be perfect. This new addition is no exception. The cylinder is tight and aligned perfectly. This model is cut for moon clips which is a nice feature. Mine was accurate out of the box and is easily concealable. Add to that I had a great experience with Bud's Gun Shop. Everything went smoothly. I am thoroughly pleased

This is what everyone in the revlover worl wanted. Ti cylinder, long sight radius and an 8 shot. Great revolver to shoot multiple matches with easy to obtain factory ammo.

Great ammo, worked well on the elk in photo, and the other picture is a 200 yard shot group out of a greatlakes AR10 in 7mm PRC. I have had issues with the ELDX, and a book I read said the ELDM are a better hunting bullet.

Great gun. Super accurate(sub 1/2"). Feed very well and shoots 180gr Hornady ELD-M(affordable factory ammo)great. Used this set up to take an elk at 463 yards, and worked perfect. Love the fact that the recoil is very minimal(because it's semi-auto & the brake). Follow up shoots are very easy and quick. Highly recommend!!! I will be buying a second one for right handed son, and wish there was a left handed option for the lefty son…
