  Also unless I missed something I don't think shotgun shells have the same restrictions as regular ammo
  "California bans the manufacture, importation, sale, offer for sale, or knowing possession or transportation of handgun ammunition designed primarily to penetrate metal or armor.28 This ban applies to any ammunition (except a shotgun shell or ammunition primarily designed for use in rifles) "

  Dale, a fully rifled shotgun barrel has rifling instead of the normal smooth bore to stabilize the bullet for best accuracy. Cheers and stay safe!

  yes it can be used with a rifled tube and even a smoothbore barrel. accuracy will be best in a full rifled barrel.
• Q: Trying to see what the FPS is on these. My rifled shotgun has a 1 in 35" twist and I've seen the best performance for shotguns that have between 1 in 34" twist work best with 1200-1500 fps and shotguns with 1 in 30" perform best with 1900-2000 fps. Looking for the perfect round that will give the sabot proper spin for my shotgun. Thanks in advance.

  Muzzle Velocity 2000 Feet Per Second - Muzzle Energy 2664 Foot Pounds . 1,816 fps at 50 yards: 2,196 ft/lbs. at 50 yards - 1,641 fps at 100 yards : 1,793 ft/lbs. at 100 yards.
