Coming from a high volume manufacturer like Taurus and at this price point I was somewhat apprehensive about what the overall quality and accuracy of their all stainless 1911 would be. Now I can say I’m more than satisfied and any concerns were laid to rest after seeing it and having the chance to run some rounds through it. It obviously benefits from modern firearm manufacturing techniques but also shows some level of hands on attention as well. Bottom line, great 1911 especially for the money. To top it off Buds makes the task of acquiring one so convenient and at the lowest price you’ll find.

I just took my 1911 to the range after purchasing 3 weeks ago. Thus is my first 1911, and my first .45 Still early since I only ran 50 rounds through it, but man, do I love it! Feels great in my hands, and a ton of fun to shoot. I'll be spending a lot more time at the range with this. Thank you Bud's 👍👍

For the price is not a bad gun but there are a few shortcomings. Barrel to bushing tolerance was very sloppy so I had to hand fit an oversized bushing. The frame and slide has some play. Plastic grips. Injection molding parts. It's a series 80, which I really dislike so it got converted to a series 70. The hammer has another idiotic safety so it got ditched out! The magazine followers are junk and one broke. The sights are great, the gun shoots well and it never jammed once. I'm an amateur gunsmith so I don't mind the work but if you are after a budget 1911, Tisas are much, much tighter and better built guns.

Fast and easy process. Had my order in my hands within 2 weeks of the entire process. Gun is everything it was said to be. Great value and even came with carry case, gun lock, 2 mags so would definitely buy again from Bud's.
