The most fired guns in many gun collections are often rimfires. This series includes Savage's AccuTrigger, a crisp, clean trigger that adjusts down to approximately 2.5 pounds. AccuTrigger prevents accidental discharge, even at the lowest setting, and there's no need for a gunsmith to modify it. The GL is the left-handed model of the G and features a 21" blued carbon steel barrel and walnut-stained hardwood stock with cut checkering, a detachable box magazine and a two-position safety immediately behind the bolt handle. It is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and has open sights. For economical plinking or small game hunting, the Magnum rimfire is the very definition of versatility.
