Awesome little rifle bought it for the kids to shoot but it isnt quite a youth rifle as my 10yr olds have trouble shouldering it. But still a great gun and fun to shoot.

Great first rifle. Accu-trigger is awesome. very accurate. the bolt is a little stiff, but it's only going to get better with age, and this seems like a .22 that a youngster could appreciate for an entire lifetime! I love it.

This gun is great for the money. Its well balanced and shoots very accurate. The trigger is feather light but yet nice and crisp. I didnt much care for the duller finish on the wood but l buffed it with some rubbing compound and then rubbed it out with a polish to a high gloss finish. It looks awesome now. The only issue a had was the magazine would not feed 10 rds. Only 8 at a time. I got ahold of savage and they took care of me right away. After cleaning and oiling the gun it is now smooth as butter. I am very happy with the gun overall and would recommend it. I have 10 other 22 rifles and this one rates right up there . Put a scope on it and the possibilities are endless.. very good gun for the money!!

Ordered this rifle for my son and have shot several thousand rounds through it without any problems. Great purchase with absolute no regrets on true wood stock rifle.

    Bill, The Savage Mark ll and Mark lll rimfire rifles are made by Lakefield Arms for Savage in Lakefield, Ontario where it remains as of 2019.
