  Hi Brandon, the 10-34 mount referenced below is for the 6.5" barrel, it will not work on this gun.

• Q: Does this Taurus 627 Tracker have a Transfer bar safety or what type of safety does it have If any

  Hi Rone and welcome. This model has a Transfer Bar Safety. The transfer bar can only be in position to transfer the energy of the hammer to the firing pin if the trigger is fully depressed. Otherwise, without the trigger being pulled, the hammer can in no way contact the firing pin, making it impossible to fire the gun. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

• Q: Description on Taurus website states 357/38 +P. No where on the gun is stamped+P. Was wondering can I fire +P ammo? I have asked this question on Taurus website and still waiting answer. Thanks

  yes you can. think about it this way the 38 special is the weakest ammo that this gun uses, then you have the 38 special +p and the heaviest ammo is the .357 magnum. If it is rated for a 357 mag it can easily handle the lower pressure 38 special +p ammo

  yes any 357 mag revolver will safely fire the lower pressure .38 special rounds you will need to clean the cylinder good after a steady diet of the shorter 38 special case as it can cause a carbon buildup making the longer 357 rounds harder to chamber

• Q: What do I need to do to stop the casing from being stuck after shot in my Taurus 627SS4 M627 Tracker 7RD 357MAG 4? I am using TULA 357MAG 158GR FMJ 50/20 ammo in it. I have shot 100 rounds and they all stick. The revolver is new.

  Grab yourself a good wire cleaning brush that fits fairly tightly into the cylinder, dip it in solvent (Hoppes #9) and scrub that rascal down - good - do it twice. Try it after that. If you still have problems, then I'd say the problem is the steel casings. Brass cases expand a bit when fired, but brass is more 'elastic' than steel and it will resume it's 'normal' dimensions after that initial expansion. Steel, on the other hand, expands but doesn't 'shrink back' as it just isn't as pliable as brass. I know the steel stuff is cheaper, but sometimes it just isn't worth the headaches. If you have problems with brass, you might want to talk to Taurus. Good luck there.
