no it does not have a thumb safety only the trigger safety

This firearm does not have a conventional manual safety, or a magazine disconnect and will fire if the trigger is pulled with a live round in the chamber.

can I get this with 10 rd mags. I'm in NJ

Jack, unfortunately Bud's will only remove the magazines, they will not replace them. You would need to obtain your own 10rd magazines. Sorry but this is Bud's policy. You can thank Dictator Murphy and all the uninformed people who voted him into office for this complete disregard for the 2nd amendment. We had a 15rd limit when he took office. My first Kimber and have no issues with it thus far. I bought the tactical package from Buds and this came with five mags and a range bag. the size compared to the baby Glock is the most comparable, in my opinion. She has some weight to her, but not too much. I would not carry this pistol if I was wearing my thick leather or carry belt. Like the baby Glock, this is a little too heavy for athletic gear.

This is my first Kimber and this is a great option for edc. Very smooth trigger pull. I have fed 500 rounds through and zero issues. Highly reccomend.

A little more snappy than my wife’s Sig 365 but I love the stippling and it’s dead accurate love that it came with the 13rnd mags. Excellent firearm. Buds nails it again with fast shipping and unbeatable prices.

Very pleased so far. I have run about 500 rounds of mixed ammo 115, 124, 147 brass ball and Speer Gold Dot without any issues. Well balanced and very accurate out to 25 yards. I will daily carry this pistol with confidence that it will perform in the event that I have to use it in a defense situation. Caveat of only being on the market for a short time is there a currently not a lot of kydex holster options. The holster that comes with the Range Pack is usable but I would like to upgrade in the future. I mounted a Holosun 407K with C&H plate and it cowitness’s perfectly with factory sites.
