Geoffrey, this 45ACP Magazine will function in the Kimber Ultra Carry. Tower and magazine catch slot are the same as the original magazines. Just insert enough to get the audible lock/click.

Geoffrey, Yes these magazines are 45 ACP size. Will fit and function in your Kimber.

They are 45 ACP magazines and should fit in the ultra/officer frame size but might be a bit less reliable than the properly sized magazines that are shorter. I would take care not to insert them with excessive force as the extra length can potentially allow over-insertion.

Will these 8 rd mags fit the ultra carry? Will they just hang below the bottom of the mag well?

Larry, yes they will lock in and function as intended but will just have about one round's worth of magazine hanging out the bottom.

I've found that these are as good as the factory Kimber mags. Maybe even better because they hold one more round! Even after a year of use, they are still functioning at top performance.

Great Magazines. For the $$ I am very pleased. I choose these over Wilson because of the butt plate options, plus they are literally $10 to $17 less than Wilsons. I think Kimber mags get a bad rap because the single stock mag you get with the gun is standard at best.. I would recommend and I will buy more when in stock..
