excellent prices and best service

Have had several purchases with Buds, and as always, I am satisfied with their service. I had been waiting to see this particular pistol on sale for over a year, and jumped at the chance to put it on layaway when I saw it available. At the FFL Dealer, it was the talk of the shop. Several old timers fell in love with the quality, and I have heard that after seeing and feeling how well built it was, a couple of those to gush over it went and bought their own STI 1911, though most went for the standard .45 ACP. So far I have put about 500 down range, with zero failures. Several times, the slide failed to stay locked back after the mag was empty, but as I don't plan on carrying this for protection it doesn't bother me, and it doesn't happen but maybe 1 out of 5 times (and I am thinking it is the magazine). Shoots very well, very accurate, great trigger pull, hefty weight. My only gripe is that it didn't come with the advertised STI Square Hammer. Love the forward cocking serrations, tho I thought I wouldn't, because I seem to tear my fingers up every time I cock it from the rear. Probably just my dry hands during winter. After breakdown, I could see it was hand polished, and I appreciate that greatly. Don't be daft, pick one of these up if you have the chance! My first, and probably last, 1911, and I am proud to be its owner!

I have been using this pistol for awhile now and it runs great. I have not had any problems with it. This gun performs as well as the many much higher priced ones. I have made no changes to the gun except for a magwell. It shoots all grain bullets with out issue. I will put this gun up against any 1911 9mm this is out there and the price is unbelievable for what you get in this gun. If your on the fence get off and by this pistol. I shoot it in IDPA,USPSA and steel.
